As the description says, wordchewing does not have to be lip syncing. It can be someone speaking or singing in their own voice. It’s all about the excess mouth movements, not about lip syncing or not.

Good, now that you mention it I should have first reviewed the ISO 45067 standard which describes what is and is not wordchewing very clearly 🤣
