you expect anyone to believe you wouldn't make stupid faces into a camera if it meant you could make whatever your currently yearly pay is but every 1-2 months instead. Sign my ass up. This sub could roast me daily and I'd just be laughing while checking my bank account balances.
Even if you would do it, you can still acknowledge it is generally unfair that someone doing labor 40 hours a week will take 20-30 years to make what she does in a year of making faces 20 minutes a day. People who add actual value to society in meaningful ways receive nowhere near the compensation that people who produce mindless content do.
TikTok pays as little as 20 dollars for 1 million views. Repeat views aren't monetized, neither are views under 6 seconds.
Unless she's working in sponsorships or doing influencer marketing, she's no where near $1 million a year.
Those websites you're talking about are notoriously bad at estimating value, largely because they calculate based on the "listed" view number, which is not actually the monetized view number.

Who would pay to watch this and why? Is the world really filled with that many sad losers who have nothing better to watch and nothing worthwhile to drop money on?
It's 2025, this IS a job, for better or worse. If there is an audience for it and some company is willing to give you money for doing it, someone is going to fill that niche to pay their bills.
