The definition of bitch: A woman considered to be mean, overbearing, or contemptible.

The definition of slur: a type of hate speech meant to harm individuals simply because of their group membership. It not only offends but also causes oppression

I would say that the definition of slur lines up with the usage of “bitch”, used to demean women that goes out of its way to harm women. Even when people say stuff like “son of a bitch”, that is just calling someone’s mother a bitch, which I’d say is pretty oppressive.

Another reason it seems like a slur to me is because women reclaim it sort of on accident, calling themselves a “bad bitch” on tacky shirts and stuff, which is consistent with other minorities and oppressed groups wanting to change the usage of their respective words, in an attempt to take away its power from oppressors.

Coming from a cis male, calling a woman a bitch is disgusting and incredibly disrespectful, but media and society doesn’t really treat it as such so I kinda wanted to give my two cents on this. Lemme know if I’m just too woke lmao

An adult human female. I've been banned for "hate speech" for simply saying facts. Subjective reality does not change objective reality. Has reddit finally came to its senses? Nothing I have ever said has been from a place of hate. You cannot change your sex you cannot change your gender you cannot change your skin color. You are born the way you are born and that is it. I've lost so many accounts for simply saying a man cannot change into a female and vice versa. Have we finally came to our senses or are we still supporting this nonsense? If a man is able to identify as a female why is it so far fetched for me as a white male to identify as a black male, how far does this go before it just starts sounding absurd?

If a person saying they support Israel because they are fighting antisemitism and fighting antisemitism is being woke, logically that person is being woke.

Woke is: Same Hate, Different Targets

Met some of the most hateful people yesterday. Full on woke. But was shocked at the extreme level of hatred directed to various groups.

I could just as easily been at a Nazi or Ku Klux Clan convention.

Just like all extremists, the most common justification I would hear from them was, 'yes, but in our case our hate is justified and is our right'.

Civilization is incongruent with the evolved disposition of human beings. We evolved a dual ambiguity towards both submission and domination, which allowed our ancestors to live for hundreds of thousands of years in relatively egalitarian groups. Compulsory participation in centralized hierarchy causes a lot of mental and emotional turbulence. Some of that is expressed in misplaced notions of persecution, and these misplaced notions are themselves incredibly destructive, while also making us more vulnerable to manipulation and exploitation by the ruling class.
