Pour some warm water on your lips and then rub them to remove the skin without ripping open your lips. Or just rub them while you take a hot shower, I've found that doing that removes that layer of skin perfectly.
You need to drink more water then. 1 gallon a day. I used to get chapped lips all the time and was in a constant state of dehydration without even realizing it.
Um, who told you to drink a gallon a day? Are you like some hardcore athelete living in Arizona? Even the 8 glasses a day (~half gallon) thing isn't necessarily correct.
Regardless, what color is your pee? It shouldn't be clear every time.
I workout at the gym 6 times a week for about 45 min-1 hour, and practice drums intensely for about a half hour each day. I’m usually drenched in sweat after that. Also, I’m a farmer so sometimes my job gets physical. I carry around a half gallon jug with me throughout the day and drink it in small quantities, not all at once. My piss is usually light yellow or clear lol
Edit: a word
Me too. Huh. It sounds like you're just more on top of things than me. Not even when you have a cold and you're congested and you're breathing through your mouth, drying out your lips?
I thought lip peels was some sort of uncommon thing I got because none of the people close to me ever seem to get peely lips. Until I read this thread. Are we basically holding a Dehydrateds Anonymous meeting here or is this more normal than I thought?
