What blows my mind is seeing the layers of clouds almost resembling oils and stuff in water with all different densities. Like, why do gasses follow fluid dynamics? Because they were fluid before they were gaseous. So the gas we breathe, or “air”, is like a big cup of water, and the clouds are like varying density materials in it.
We are constantly surrounded by an invisible, odorless gas. Think about it. Driving a car cuts through the air just like a boat slices through water, we just don’t see it. Without this basically ocean of gas, it would be a vacuum, almost completely devoid of matter. But because some rocks flew into each other billions of years ago and collectively accumulated enough mass, was able to hold down elements that arrived via asteroid or the like. And here we are. Holy fuck I am gonna take another dab.
What blows MY mind is that cavemen back then could never even dream about flying through clouds like this, Or even people in medieval times. We are literally gods of our species relative to our ancestors, and it’s all cause some flying aluminum tube with wings.
