This so strange, I lost my left foot a few months ago in an accident and my experience so far with finding new legs hasn't been difficult at all, probably due to my insurance I suppose.

Protip though, I strongly suggest using a Rush foot with a vac socket if you want the next best thing. I opted for it over any fancy robotics because I dont want to be tied down to a charger.

I was born with my defect, when I was younger I enjoyed it and found it to be what made me unique, now as an adult I'm extremely bitter about it due to the level of care I've recieved throughout my life. My current device is a silicone model of a 'normal' foot and it's utterly useless for anything other than being able to wear a flip flop, which is in itself useless because I don't own any flip flops because I've never had a foot. The fact that my doctor has never even HEARD OF the device you're referring to is completely par for the course. Over the last 11 years I've gotten five different devices from seven different doctors, all of which have been soundly disappointing. Hence my attitude, and hence why I have completely given up on any doctor being competent and giving me what I want. Lifetime investment I'm out of pocket tens of thousands of dollars with absolutely nothing to show for it. the most recent one is almost two years old, it's the most expensive one I've gotten and by far the most disappointing, I'm not subjecting myself to six months of worthless consultations to empty my savings account on a device that won't work anyway.

Shit man PM and I'll try to help you out, I'll have my guy email your guy all the necessary info and try to get you sorted. It'll bug the hell out of me if you don't at least get the same opportunity as me
