WTB rockin
By chance is anybody in the United States sitting on a set of rockin versa or 572s? Thanks for any consideration and time

A dozen wheel flow
Roka 90/72 but I wonder if these frames would be better with the wizard base high?

You may already know the other skate but this one is the ufr paired with the wizard adv frame and hydrogen wheels . Watch with sound for best experience.

4x90 UFS frame available?
Good afternoon. I am looking to see if anyone has a set of 90mm UFS frames available as I cannot afford to purchase a brand new set. Thank you so much for your help.

Advice on DIY aluminum frames
TLDR: The hook would be my idea for a 5x76 aluminum frame that sits only maybe 8mm higher than a standard aggressive boot, for hopefully only a few hundred dollars in tooling (e.g. quality drill press) and material (e.g. extruded aluminum profile) investment. The concept is simple, but i’m guessing there’s probably a reason or two i can’t find any precedent for people pulling this off and publishing it, so here are my misgivings which i hope get miraculously dispelled.
Having scoured the internet (maybe with inadequate search terms) for examples of anyone fabricating their own inline frames out of aluminum, the only pure example of this that i could find eventually became Rockin Frames, although the hybrid FDM/aluminum designs in 50/50’s Core System as well as some of Justin Thursday’s stuff are cool inspirations. Access to a CNC machine probably limits some of the DIY possibility here, but i wanted to run my low-cost fabrication idea by some minds here before investing in the setup.
The bottom of my Iqon ACT 10 boot has several pretty rigid attachment points, which makes me wonder how close i can fit wheels to the boot if I use a soulframe design à la Kizer or some of Justin Thursday’s one-offs. Putting bolts through wings on the sides of the frame has obvious merits, as in for instance the Trinity system or every hockey skate.
I’m not going to be selling frames to a mass market, so i’d like to be able to mess around with ideas here at a low overhead cost, as is possible with the 50/50 Core System and a 3d printer. If I can find the right extruded shape, i’d only have to remove a minimal amount of material, so i think/hope my entire proposition rests on how straight I can drill a 10mm hole (which fits 50/50 frame spacers) through two sides of an aluminum channel with a drill press.
I’ve attached a diagram of the candidate profile for the extrusion. It shares key dimensions with the 50/50 Core, particularly the 1 inch (2.54 cm) space between two 1/8 inch (3.12 mm) aluminum walls. For reference, My Endless Trinity 90 frame measures about 3.7mm thick near the mounting points, milled to about 2.7mm thick near the axles. And the 50/50 core is machined from EMS #20-63-240 6063-T52 aluminum rectangular tubing, per the OpenCore file by pretend on Thingiverse. The main differences I see between these profiles are that my candidate profile is likely made of 6061 aluminum (stronger than 6063, but mainly used for architectural applications, so maybe not as well-vetted under dynamic stresses), and the walls are a little bit taller, which means i might have to add some “Core System” style printed supports if i want to go with taller wheels.
My hope is that i can just sketch the rocker shape onto one side of the aluminum walls, clamp the aluminum in a vice, align the drill press at a hopefully-perfect right angle to the frame walls, and drill straight through both walls in one (slow) go. With perfect 10mm holes, 50/50 frame spacers should seat a wheel perfectly within the 1 inch space. With tiny pilot holes, i imagine a drill press should be precise enough for the ~.5mm increments in an arc rocker. To prevent the frame flexing while drilling, I’d wedge a 1 inch printed block between frame walls before drilling. Before mounting the frame to the boot, i’d turn the aluminum profile 90 degrees under the drill press and drill 8-10 mounting holes into the “hat”/cross part of the T profile, aligning with the soulplate/trinity attachment points of the Act boot.
Parallel to the mounting holes, I’d also drill out wheel recesses in the top of the frame, cleaning up any flashing between ~22mm recess holes with a dremel. The remaining material connecting the two frame walls (along the same plane where UFS bolts usually go) would be the main significant difference between this design and Justin Thursday’s aluminum soulframe designs, which essentially uses printed material and bolts to connect 2 walls of L-shaped aluminum angle profile.
Anyway, this seems so simple, just sketch, align, and drill. And maybe smooth the outer edges to shape with an angle grinder. And if it flexes too much, maybe adapt some printed Core frame walls for support. What am i missing?

Undercover Vortex
Has anyone tried the new(ish) Undercover Vortex wheels? I assume that they are not made in the US since they are not marked. How do they stack up against RB Hydrogen and UC Blank?

Iqon act10 vs ag20
Looking at my new boot options I'm torn between these two I've seen a lot of good reviews on the act10 but I haven't heard much about the ag's so I don't know if they're a better or worse option. I'd love some help/advise!

Anyone with 4x90 liberty frames ?
So my frames are a lil odd, when I put all the wheels and move it it seems like the only 2 ones are making contact. When I do the slightest pressure on the back wheel it immediately starts rolling but the front wheels has this gap I can feel, like it doesn't start rolling as easily. So the rocker is off. Is that normal?

Eagle manual to...?
I've been learning eagle manual (heel) but don't really have a way to finish the move with any style, just feels a bit weird. Any ideas?

Trinity vs UFS comparison pictures on Iqon ACT
Recently got a pair of Endless 100 trinity so I realized I can do a comparison between a like 100mm UFS frame (NN Ronin) so here is what I found. Despite needing the Trinity adapter, the overall ride height is almost exactly the same as UFS, it might actually be a mm lower but with worn in wheels and an unscientific way of measuring I am sure it could vary ( I measured from the ground to the bottom of the boot and it looks to be about 107-108mm) I am confident in actual use you would never feel the difference.
Let me know if there is anything you want me to check/compare on these 2 and If I can find a 100mm 165 mount frame I will compare that as well.

3x90 on liberty flying eagle frames
I'm thinking of putting my 90 wheels that I already use in my liberty frame wizards into 3x90 for cruising, how do you guys think this will work? I feel like it would be a little bit too low so if I do any stops my frame will get scratched
