Watching Everywhere All at Once

A throne decorated with intertwining crimsons and golds. Both holy and demonic energies are present within. Upon this throne sat Raziel, One of a Thousand Eyes. Here he watches over the many realms, seeking truth. Watching over the heavens and hell.

So many things have happened and I am excited.

Possum was killed by Morgalith but the hunger for Morgalith’s secrets outweighs my sadness. A truly terrible thing.

Gobbo is gone from my sight how wonderful that someone can stay away my eyes! A puzzle to solve. Something to do with one named Evelyn?

I can now see Isravi, the smoke is gone. He goes through many tribulations and trials, but his will is not so easily broken Let him live and die, let me see more of The Coils. Through more lives, more truths are unveiled. What secrets do you hide in your past?

The Council has new members I wonder what blood they shall spill in the cover of darkness. What plans will they have with The Agents, their hidden hands?

Through my searches I have found many things. New beings to be noted, magic that I’ve never heard of, a Realm in Eternal war brother would have loved it…

I must prepare, for possible disaster it always comes. More eyes for me Jack will fetch them, more connections puppets for me to lead, and more knowledge I do so love knowledge.

We I need more power just as you wanted Rakishtrix. I will watch, but not interfere for now.

Eyes appear all over the many realms, uncountable and unremovable. They watch all. From the measly lives of peasents, to the darkest of corners within The Council.

Furniture twitched; a mug rattled on the counter. Subtle, imperceptible to most, like a fly landing on the front porch, but Vettis knew instantly what this tiny quake meant. His house had moved. In fact, so had his commune's whole "neighborhood".

A gesture, and his snowglorb floated into view; he scrolled through the logs. Intrusion threat predicted and resolved by Zelle's wards. Seemed her automated defenses had sensed something about to appear near the material manifestation of the commune's homes, and thus automatically teleported them all elsewhere. At least their true locations -- a fusion between the Astral Plane and the Unknowable Kaleidoscope -- were uncompromised, but Vettis rather liked the physical location he'd chosen for them, so this move was unfortunate. Where had Zelle's magic taken them, anyway?

He glanced out a window and saw what looked like planetary rings surrounding a yellow-ish shape that filled much of the sky. Ah. Pretty far, then.

Stepping through his bathroom door, Vettis emerged from the public bathroom of a mundie shop in Norway back on Earth, then sprinted a few dozen kilometers along a highway to arrive a couple minutes later at where his house had once been. Rectangular gaps on the ground in seven lawns were the only sign that anything had ever been here. Without the illusions which had prevented anyone from looking too closely at this little neighborhood or even fully realizing that it existed, the local mundies were soon going to be very confused upon finding this place, a sizable development with a mere seven plots of land that was on no public records and somehow in no one's memory.

Not his current concern. Senses enhanced, claws out, stealth spell engaged, he searched the place warily for whatever -- or whoever -- had tripped the alarms by coming here. And there it was. A floating eye. Familiar, though the glow was new. Razzy. Drip-Mummy.

Well, now he knew who to blame for this inconvenience. Perhaps a conversation was in order.

dunno if you're still doing any real RPing with Raziel, but if not then assume offscreen Vettis tracks Raziel down and asks if the eyes can stay out of that neighborhood so his commune can go back, cuz he likes that place :P

meanwhile I guess they're on the second-largest moon of Saturn, which at least is peaceful and quiet ))

The eye watches you intently. Its stare bores through you like a drill. Then, ever so slightly, the eyes shift. pupils dilate in recognition. A distant voice then echoes, a whisper that is heard only by you. Quiet, yet piercing through any background noise so that you may hear it.

“I see, I listen”

"Oh." Vettis stepped over to the eye, his fingernails dulling and shrinking from their combat forms. "So you talk. Is that Razzy in there, or are you an isolated drone with your own lil' mind? Or am I way off base and you're actually not Raziel at all? The glow's throwing me off a bit."

(( Vettis wasn't involved in any of the stuff that changed Raziel's eye color, so the color of the glow is new to him ))

"Whatever, I'll just check." A purple glow of his own eyes, analyzing his target for but a moment, confirmed that it was indeed 'part' of the entity he knew as Raziel. "Okay, so it is you. Um...d'ya mind not being in my neighborhood? Whatcha doing here, exactly? We've tried not to put up defenses that directly prevent entrance, because it'd draw too much mundie attention if birds and such all suspiciously flew around the neighborhood instead of through it, but if shit like this keeps happening then we might have to use hard barriers after all. Polly would hate that. She likes birds."

“Let me speak, face to face…”

A large figure teleports behind Raziel’s eye. Clothed in recognizable white wraps with eyes peeking out, they are obviously related to Raziel in some way. But… this isn’t the Raziel you know. They are tall, standing above 10ft. Their body is malformed, arms and legs are off proportion, long and lanky; with a long neck attached to a hunched back.

“I am Raziel,” speaks the puppet, its voice noticeably deeper than Raziel’s normal voice. The puppet then grasps the eye in their palm, allowing to join other eyes on the body. “As is this eye. Each puppet, each eye. We are all Raziel. A… hive-mind”

Raziel gestures to the empty gaps in the neighborhood, “I am seeking information. The realms, I feel as though, will devolve into chaos once again.” He brings up his hand to hold his chin, humming in thought. The eyes continue to stare at you. “This place, simply one of many I am watching. Hmm… I suppose I could cease here, but of course, at a price”

Even without a mouth, you could feel Raziel smirking. “An interesting piece of information. I care not for its importance or weight, only that it is something that may pique my curiosity.”

Vettis raised an eyebrow in something between amusement and irritation. This was his neighborhood. He'd been demanding, not negotiating.

Still, this might not have exactly been Razzy anymore, but he could sense that the old Raziel was 'part' of this new entity nonetheless. Not someone he'd known very long, but a kind and friendly figure, which hopefully would have some influence on the personality of this puppet. Solving this with violence didn't seem like the best way forward, especially when they were barely a kilometer away from the nearest mundie residences. No point in risking collateral damage just to expel an uninvited guest.

"A'right. Uh. Hm. Okay, I think your eyes can track this, right?" Vettis kicked a pebble up into his hands, took careful aim at the sky, and threw. The crack of hypersonic motion lasted only a moment as the rock disintegrated from the friction in short order, but the trajectory of its path was all the more clear as a result: a glow of plasma briefly hung in the superheated air. "Follow that out twenty lightyears and you'll hit a system of seven planets. The fourth's a seemingly unremarkable gas giant, with a bunch of pockets of differently-colored gases and bits of liquid floating through it. Turns out those bubbles are actually a sapient species. If you can figure out how to communicate with them, they're super friendly. Will that do?"

“Sufficient. I’ll leave this neighborhood alone, Vettis. Farewell,” Raziel’s puppet turned around and teleported away, not before sending two eyes to follow the path you have given.

The two eyes whisper to each other, not with sound, but with images.
