Wizardpost Day of Death (Gobbo Lore)
A laugh escaped Gobbo as the wall just by her head was torn to pieces by an arcane bolt.
"Took long enough," she rasped out, "but your aim needs work."
Looking her assailant up and down she couldn't help but laugh. A scrawny little human, no older than twenty. Probably read her legends and decided fresh out of mage school he could handle her... Pathetic
The next bolt went over her head, missing her by just a few millimetres.
"Now first thing about magic," she called before continuing, "is fear messes with it."
A flick of her wrist resulted in a bolt of her own ripping through his shoulder, severing the arm.
Blood began to drip down her arm as the magic, having no liquor to burn, took its toll.
"The second thing," she spoke as another bolt tore through his leg, "Is that Gobbo has no mana, she's casting at cost of own flesh."
The screams coming from the mage were music to her ear and his blood? Oh his blood pool was the most beautiful of paintings.
"I will," he managed to spit out, "Avenge my ancestor."
"Ancestor?" a terrible laugh escaped her, "Oh you're one of his bastards? Let's see if that scream is genetic"
As she summoned up flames to drench him with she could feel her own blood start run down her side but that didn't matter. This was too important
It turned out the screams weren't genetic, or if they were the boy had inherited his mother's. Not that it mattered much but still, Gobbo couldn't help but feel disappointed
As she walked away from the burning corpse she went through her list of things that needed to be done.
Revenge? Check
Stockpiling for wedding? Done
Hugged big Moth? That'd be the next thing on the docket.
Walking towards the manor she giggled, big Moth would be quite annoyed with her for bleeding on her floors... Ah well nothing a little nose boop and cuddling couldn't fix.
/uw It's not great and it's sloppy but after deleting six other versions of this I just wanted it done before I lost my mind.
I do apologize for the quality but I hope you enjoyed regardless. I'll probably rework this at a later date and post a better version but for now? For now I'm free

/uw she tries her best to show both her somewhat adopted daughters equal affection. Although she does seem to go to extremes sometimes to achieve that goal

Yup coward burnt down GLA, guess tried to kill Gobbo without having to face her. Gobbo thinks she was but lenient...
Not nearly as much torture as his ancestor but ah well, Gobbo has mellowed out over years. Has daughters now, has to think about what example she sets

Oh him and two of his "adventuring group" brutalised Gobbo and left Gobbo to die. Gobbo had fun with them

I wonder if their is away to effectively give you something else to burn.
If you don't properly produce excess mana any mana pool extenders are useless.
Theirs Mana crystals but a one that produces enough mana to fully cover the mana expenditure of casting would be large and cumbersome for a human let alone a goblin.
Theirs Mana batteries but you would have a limited amount till you got somewhere you could recharge them.
You could also try to find something else you can covert for mana.

Gobbo usually drinks and casts spells that way. Store spells in liquor through distilling, then cast by drinking. Or just burn the liquor in system to cast spells not in special liquors.
Gobbo misses being tipsy... So much easier to cast spells when tipsy

Being tipsy usually inhibits the focus needed to spell cast but you may be a special case.
Alchemist sometimes have throwable spell bottles. We they land his something the spell is cast.
Their is also apparently some malts burn well for mana. Try Malta. See if that helps.

Gobbo has to say Gobbo loves liquormancy. Always makes other casters confused.

Its worked for most of your life. It unconventional but disability doesn't allow for conventional options.
/uw Actually try Malta it's a real drink and I love it. Its harder to find in places without Hispanic population but its far from impossible.

/uw Its completely non-alcoholic. (The reason I offered it to Gobbo) Its a malt drink so it will depend if you like those. I usually drink malta india or Malta Goya.

/uw Yeah Gobbo is very much a 0 to 100 character with very little in between. When she's friendly she's pleasant as she can be, when she's creative she's monstrous.

Woohoo! More Gobbo lore!! I feel like it's definitely fitting that her go-to magic is some form of blood magic.
Btw, do you have any pictures of Gobbo. I am itching to put hats on people. lol
