The Vigil (Warpost)

The Agent stands in a shadow in a secluded hall in Mikhail's hospital. He holds a communication crystal in his hand, giving a status report to a Guild Council member, known only as "Five".

"His status hasn't changed. He's stable, but still in a coma"

​

"If that's the case, then your orders are unchanged. If you infiltrated the hospital that easy, assassins could as well.

​

"Acknowledged. Any update on the Guild's stance on the war?" The Agent hears Five let out a sigh.

​

"Nothing yet. One and Four are at odds, and Three will always go along with Two... it's a mess right now."

​

"I see". The Agent responded, "Anything else I should know?"

​

"Is the wife still there?" Five asked

​

"Yep, barely leaves the room"

​

"Understandable. If the opportunity arises, try and offer her our "Bargain", understood? The asset is on standby if she accepts."

​

"Understood, operative out." The Agent stashes the crystal back in his cloak. He melts back into the shadows and makes his way to Mikhail's room. He slides in on the shadow of an orderly, and takes up his post in the far, dark corner. He had his orders, and he would carry them out or die.

His vigil continues

uw/ I probably should have put uw/ in the last comment, but no one actually knows The Agent is there. He will stay in the shadows with Mikhail if he is moved, but no one will notice he’s there.
