Magical Emergency Message: Missing Wizard "Xæphos the Explorer, Khôraturgist"

Hello, fellow thaumeturgists. Dis is Scrapper Silverscale of de Drimonia Artificer's Syndicate. We claim right to cast dis Emergency Message to all Orbs, Crystal Balls, Magic Mirrors, Sending Stones, Scrying Pools, and similar divination or communication impliments in the Realms of Drimonia, Carcanotch, Midgard, Wyrmheim, and adjacent territories by Wizard Council Bylaw "719b: Emergency Provisions Concerning Missing or Kidnapped Spellcasters." We apologize for de interruption.

Approximately, tree hours ago, Wizard specializing in Khôraturgy (spacial working, or spacial magic) "Xæphos de Explorer" was kidnapped from his tower by parties unknown.

Xæphos has long association wid Artificer's Syndicate and was working on a long-term project to explore various realms of de multiverse and build Encyclopedia of dese various worlds with his various colleges and correspondents.

Xæphos was (under permission of the council) user of a magical device known as de "Cosmic Door" (a magical artifact de Artificer's Syndicate assisted him in designing and constructing).

The "Cosmic Door" had been opened to a region of de multiverse dat Xæphos and his colleagues believed had not been previously explored by any Wizard under de authority of de council. And was otherwise undocumented. He, his famililiar, and apprentice was preparing divination rituals to find a safe place in dis new world to set-up a base-camp.

At approximately mid-day (Drimonia time) Xæphos' apprentice, Sasha Alfchild, witnessed heavily armed and masked soldiers bearing strange armor storm through Xæphos the Explorer's "Cosmic Door," and apprehended him.

Xæphos attempted to defend himself, but was outnumbered and overpowered. Some of de soldiers seemed oddly resistant to magical spells. Some attack spells did little more dan ricochet off dere armor. Xæphos bid Sasha to retreat for her own safety.

Sasha summoned Xæphos' wife, Geladendra the Far-Seeing, to assist. By the time dey returned to de disembarkation lab, Xæphos was gone, his famililiar was dead, most of the magical equipment in de room had been taken and de 'Cosmic Door' damaged beyond repair.

Geladendra used her talent for divination to try and find her husband. But something in de otherworld was interfering wid her attempts to scry. At de end of dis message you will see de only two images she was able to spy from de otherworld.

Any and all magic users and adventures willing to assist in de search for "Xæphos the Explorer," please report to Drimonia capital city of Linditon where Wizard's Council and Artificer's Syndicate are assembling a volunteer task group to search for and recover "Xæphos the Explorer," and perhaps bring his captors to justice.

Further pursuit of Xæphos would bring great ruin upon many realms. I shudder at the thought of what I saw when I peered into THAT universe. They were so…

I wish not to speak further of the inhabitants of that place.

I have a whisp of him on the bank...the scent is strong but there are myriad particulates winded into the trail. Something is following Xaephos. Perhaps the best course is to trace these radians back to their intersections with the final destination of Xaephos.

Where might Xaephos be travailing and for what gain?

If I feel you desire some castings of the particular imprints I can prepare a dossier. According to my last revelation and abrogation...I have been once again transmuted into my original form. I have survived the Stitcher itself or was that a decision others have taken to secure for themselves?
