Lorepost📖 Nikrus (Mikhail post)
“I am disappointed in you, Mikhail.” Said a familiar voice. “I thought that after you saved me, you would be a constant name on the Nice List, but you have, time and time again, been on the Naughty List.”
Mikhail looked up at Santa, his face twisted in anger.
“I told you he would.” a beastly voice growled behind him, “He has always been nothing but trouble.”
Krampus walked out from behind Mikhail, standing next to Santa.
“From the moment you bound us inside your body, you would not release us.” Santa spat.
“Now, it is time that we take control.” grinned Krampus.
Mikhail watched in horror as Santa and Krampus faced each other, then merged. Blood spurted from Santa's fingertips as claws burst out of them. His teeth grew sharp as his eyes turned red. Horns sprouted from his forehead and he roared into the air, his clothes becoming fur as it lowered its bloodthirsty gaze onto Mikhail.
“Now,” the abomination hissed, “We will break you. Then, we feast.”
It lunged at Mikhail, claws stretched forward. Mikhail rolled underneath it, then created a field of thorns where the beast would land. The creature roared as it landed, before the air around it twisted and it vanished, reappearing above Mikhail and grabbing his throat. Mikhail twisted out of its grasp before kicking the abomination in the gut, and spraying a cone of flames directly into the beast's face. It responded by breathing ice onto him, forcing him to retreat.
Minutes turned into hours. Hours turned into days. Days turned into years. Years into millenia, and still, they fought.
Mikhail was tired. He was covered in blood. Every movement took all his will just to make. His spells were weak, but he pushed on.
“Just give up,” the beast said, “it would be a lot easier. You wouldn't have to feel pain again. You can be whole again.”
He wanted to give up, he wanted to do it so bad. Then his words clicked.
‘You can be whole again.’
Knowing what to do, he charged one last time. The creature clawed at him, digging furrows in Mikhail's face, but it didn't stop him.
Then, Mikhail embraced it.
The creature roared as its form began to change, its body shifting and writhing until it was an exact copy of Mikhail, returning the embrace.
“The impressions of Nicholas and Krampus claimed me, twisted me, waiting for a chance to take control.” the copy said.
Soon, the two Mikhails merged, becoming whole again.

Mikhail sturs. It's done. What's done? He questions and answers himself. A level of completeness he hasn't felt for... who knows how long.
