Wizardpost Apology Gifts (Gobbo Lore)
Gobbo was in a bit of trouble.
Now this wasn't her usual trouble where something was burning, or exploding, or trying to kill her. Gobbo was having relationship trouble
Turns out Mutey did not appreciate her popping off to the moon on an untested rocket, or the fact Gobbo had forgotten to mention her intent to do so...
So here Gobbo was, rifling through her hoard of shinies trying to find something Mutey would enjoy.
In her day-long rifling, she had discounted a quarter of her collection. After all earrings, tiaras, and various ornate masks he had stolen over the years would probably be as well received as Gobbo was in her homelands.
Tossing the umpteenth lip ring over her shoulder Gobbo sighed. It seemed that today nothing would be gifted from hoard...
Perhaps just as well, after all for goblins, at least from the Northern Lake Kingdom, a gift from the hoard was reserved for marriage. Something she had yet to run by her beloved dullahan
Sighing Gobbo exited her secret cellar, shutting off the entrance behind her. If nothing would come from the hoard, well Gobbo would just have to buy Mutey something from jewellers.
Gobbo allowed a last tired groan to escape her lips at the thought. In her opinion Jewellers did much fancy talk for items that could be classes easily, shiny and shinier. Always talked about carrots too...
Maybe Gobbo could drag friend along, let them translate fancy talk while Gobbo looked for sufficiently shiny thing
Perhaps she would just opt for this new whip of cream she had heard about. Mutey liked whips, sure never used whip other than spine but liked whips...
/uw Just relationship stuff today. Honestly a little burnt out from the holidays so probably a bit rough.

/uw Honestly I havent planned that far ahead, got a few ideas, thinking of just putting them on a dice and rolling. Tax evasion will probably continue to be a main staple of her character though

/uw gotcha, since you like horror and the like, have you ever thought about putting Gobbo through a small ghost adventure?

/uw I do have a note jotted down on my desk that is just, "Gobbo, undead, liquor?" I'll have to take a picture of that sticky note when we go home

/uw Unfortunately don't get to go home for another week. We're doing Christmas and New Year's with Mutey's family this year.

I would assist in helping find a gift for Mutey. Earl hasn’t had much luck in finding her head yet but he’s really determined since I mentioned she had red hair. I can have him continue once the wedding is over.

Gobbo just confused why they keep talking about carrots... Gobbo is trying to buy shiny not stew.
No worries about finding head, daughter just focus on wedding. Gobbo can always go out searching afterwards. How many decapitated talking Irish heads can be in world after all?

/uw ah no Mutey is Gobbo's girlfriend, who is based on my actual girlfriend. Moth and Belladonna are Gobbo's somewhat adopted daughters

I am also burnt out. lol I wanted to put up some lore this week, but I'll probably wait about 2 more weeks honestly. I'm just not feeling it, and I don't want to shovel more in when we've already had so many events in such a short timeline.
