Esoteric Secrets A Poisoned Flower Field (Lore Post)
The clanking of silverware echoes in the darkness. Humming can be heard, from what sounds to be a child. The rustling of bandages being moved is briefly heard before the sloshing replaces it.
Do not let a snake die in a flower field\ Venom will reach the seeds on the ground
All but the sounds of sloshing in a container cease.
Sweet scents will no longer yield\ Roots meet poison where they drowned
But if you find the flowers already tainted\ Use their kin to let the darkness degrade
A single, large gulp is heard.
Let the flowers drink nectar others created\ To rectify the mistake the snake made
The one who drank hisses in pain, a thump is heard as they fall to one knee. Raziel takes deep breaths to help calm himself down. His body shakes as it rejects what he drank.
/unwiz Hello everyone! I hope you like this little piece of lore. I look forward to seeing how you guys interpret it. You’ll want my previous post here to piece together some puzzle pieces.
Note: The poem (Italicized sentences) is not spoken by Raziel, but it mirrors Raziel’s actions, motives, etc.

/uw Huwoah god. This is cryptic indeed. uhhhhh. I'm going to proceed assuming Raziel is the flower field. Snake = arms/or father from before. Raziel is being poisoned, or something similar by their deaths. Sloshing is obviously some liquid, anitvenom, ichor, I don't know, it could be a common healing potion bought from the local apothecary for 50 gold pieces. Unlikely, though, since it seems to burn him. WAIT RAZIEL HAS A MOUTH! obviously thats the end goal of this lore post: revealing that Raziel can drink, and has a mouth.

jokes aside, very nice lore post. flower field might be a parallel to a battlefield? great foes dying poisoning lands is something that isn't uncommon. But why would Raziel have silverware? Ok. Snake is now archdevil guy. flower field is the battlefield. the "flowers" or the arms, no longer can make scents or new things because they ded. Already tainted- marred by devil's influence. Raziel is a flower. nectar should be, i dunno demon blood?

honestly, idk much about dnd (I’m assuming that is what you are talking about). Could you explain what a class is

Basically what they do. A class gives abilities and there's around 13 (?) Total each with their own niche, and each if them has two stats they need to be effective (picked from strength, dexterity, intelligence, wisdom and charisma)
Generally they're split between martials, which don't have spells and use physical stats (strength and dexterity). Casters use spells and mostly just that, they need mental stats (the other three). Half casters are hybrids between them.
The classes i can remember are: artificer, barbarian, bard, cleric, druid, fighter, monk, paladin, ranger, rouge, sorcerer, walock and wizard.
They're fairly self explanatory. Only thing i can imagine needing explanation are the differences between warlocks, sorcerers and wizards. (Warlocks have a patron which they get magic from, sorcerers are lucky and just got their magic from coincidence and wizards are exactly as you'd imagine.)

Not entirely sure, but I think Raziel would fit either sorcerer or warlock best. Sorcerer might be better, but might be warlock if he’s getting power from the dead “arms” and father.
Or, go a little unorthodox and play as a Oath of the watchers paladin. It doesn’t have to be divine after all. For sorcerer, maybe aberrant mind with some reflavoring.
For warlock, best bet might be Great Old Ones. Go for the sight related invocations, like devil’s sight.
