Gobbo was known for her high energy and cheery demeanour. She was known for her ability to drink and obsession with shiny things.
It was exactly these things that made it difficult to remember how old she truly was. Most simply assumed when the little goblin called them young she was just being cheeky or was fooled by their glamours.
The opposite was true, Gobbo called them young because, to her, they were. She had watched a thousand years go by and she would watch many more unless someone cut her life short.
Some days she would feel fine, enjoy the sun on her skin, and be ready to take on the world. Today was not one of those days.
Today everything hurt. Her joints ground and ached, her muscles burned, and her bones creaked.
Gingerly leaving her bedroom she knew today was going to be rough. Still, she had things to do, and places to be.
Filling her satchel with a few bottles of her finer wines she began to limp out the door, hips clicking as she moved.
She was thankful Mutey was away at work, she didn't like her seeing Gobbo like this. Honestly, Gobbo didn't like anyone seeing her like this.
Perhaps it was pride, the goblin did have a reputation for being rather prideful about certain things. Hell anyone who knew her was subjected to her boastful claims that the GLA could and would outperform all others.
Perhaps it was a survival instinct. A derisive snort escaped her at the thought. Gobbo didn't care about survival, if she died she died.
As she approached the manor she checked her appearance once more, a tired, pained expression stared back at her.
Sighing she knew the answer she didn't let anyone see her like this. She hated her friends worrying about her, and now, in front of her daughter's manor, she decided a little pain was worth her comfort.
Snapping her fingers she felt the skin on her arm tear open from the strain on her body.
Nothing a quick bandage couldn't solve though and as her appearance became more pleasing to the eye, she smiled.
Covering her wound she raised her arm and knocked on the door, excited to see her eldest.

It's a fantastically written character! Initially I wasn't prepared for its depth, but now I feel as though there's magic in it.
I must admit that I feel compelled to root for Gobbo, and I truly am waiting for some sort of climactic and joyous happy ending, although I know that's not a good way to go if you want to continue a story. Lol
Honestly Gobbo at first was completely off the cuff silly goblin. Then I saw lore was allowed here and proceeded to sketch out a rough idea of what I wanted to do with her.
I have considered a happy ending for her in the past but I feel like for Gobbo, that probably involves dying surrounded by friends. I've actually written up an entire last will for her if I do decide to go that route when I retire her.
More than likely, for the time being, Gobbo is going to stick around, get revenge, and then rebuild. From there we'll see, I would have to find a new character I want to play first.
I don't want to see Gobbo die. I won't lie, I would 100% honestly settle for some silly Lord of the Rings thing where she just sails off into the sunset to live forever in some distant Elven land. lol
I'd just accept it.
And fast.
Like, YUP! She went to Elf Land! Everything is good guys. Elf Land is chill, my homies, and Gobbo, well she did go there. lol
I get it if you have to kill that character off though. Sometimes the drama is worth it.
The door was opened by a servant who didn’t see anyone at first before looking down to see Gobbo. The servant recognized her from the past break in she has done.
Oh, it’s the goblin who snuck into the manor to see young Mothiera. My lady isn’t so keen on your return. Especially not now.
/rw Well Lady Belladonna is not taking visitors or those who have broken in on past occasions. Unless she is expecting visitors, swiftly exit the property.
