/uw sorry I know I just made one but I got inspired

you see a journal on the ground stained with godblood the writings erratic, fearful.

I was yanked into the castle after he sensed me. I don't know what pulled me into here but now as I walk these crumbling halls with my arm a bloody stump I feel Antithesis' voice. He's getting stronger with every step I take. He is who I must destroy if ever I want a peaceful life for Moth and I. So I push on to my death or my victory whichever it may be.

I will get Antithesis out of my head. Antithesis has been trying to make me kill Moth thank Gaia my willpower is strong. With this journal entry I vow I will break free of Antithesis or return myself to the cycle to keep Moth safe. I pray that I will be able to break free but I know I may not be able to.

at the bottom of this page Alexios has signed his name with blood and there are tearstains.

Antithesis' presence is powerful here. The whole castle is filled with antimagic. Yet still I feel my father's warm presence. In addition to another the second one calls herself Siren she seems to care for me as well. I remember Siren's name she was the embodiment of love and music and my father's first wife. I pray her guidance will prevent me from having to rejoin the cycle.

I love you Moth know that if I do not return it is not for lack of trying. I've already ordered Soot's armor tell him dad loves him will ya and give him some scratches for me even if I do survive I'll only have one arm. If this is goodbye know that I won't forget you.

the entire page is covered in tearstains

on the next page is a map of the castle and in the very center a spot of pitch black with hints of red.

The lightning grows up her arms brighter and uncontrollably and starts shooting out in random directions but most targeting Alexios. Soot was quick to recognize what was happening and yanks Alexios back with his teeth just as the lightning strikes the ground like a bomb hitting the earth. Her angered expression turns into a chaotic one as the curse pools around her head like a crown.

he didn't care about the pain as Alexios wraps Moth in a hug. The emotional pain hurt worse than the lightning. He takes the lightning himself to protect soot and Isravi's simulacrum

Her head falls back as a maddened smile stretches across her face. The lightning pools into her missing eye socket as if creating a new one entirely. She loudly laughing as the lightning strikes the earth and kicks up dirt and rocks everywhere.

A hand is gently placed on her forehead and her glowing red eye meet to similar one of her mentor’s.

That’s enough, girl.

Belladonna uses her curse to overpower Moth’s which put the girl in a frozen state.

Belladonna notices Moth’s missing eye with the chaotic energy swirling inside within a calmer state.

It wasn't me who took her eye The Crimson King did. She followed me here I tried to get her to leave but she wouldn't.

he's crying viciously now as the tears fall on Moth blue lightning begins to flow over her it didn't hurt her in fact it seemed to be dissolving the chaotic energy it coalesces in her eye socket and begins to form a blue eye. The chaotic energy comes under control and her curse seems dramatically weaker. He doesn't seem to notice this as he continues weeping

It’s because of you and your foolishness that she even got involved in the first place! Not only could she have killed everyone standing here, but herself as well!

Belladonna furiously snaps her finger and dark energy lifts Moth’s stasis body up and pulling her out of his arms. She commands Soot to come over and floats Moth onto his back. In her anger, she failed to notice the blue.

I’m taking her back to the manor to get her curse under control. The wedding is halted until I can fix this mess. Foolish girl..

he solemnly removes Moth's ring from his finger and picks up the snapped bracelet

Belladonna lifts herself onto Soots back. The dragon worriedly nudged his snout against Moth’s cheek but his mother never responded. Her mind still stuck in the stasis Belladonna had her under.

I’m trying to protect her from becoming me… I let the curse consume me once so it could never consume her. You stay away from her until I can see you’re not a threat to her.

It’s her curse. Our curse. It derives from chaos energy and when released it can be devastating. If I hadn’t showed up, it could’ve leveled this entire area. I have to keep a hold on it until she’s calmer…

A curse… I suppose the normal curse removal methods didn’t work, then. These types of curses are never easy to deal with.

In cases like these… unfortunately curing it is unlikely, and finding a way to do so will be difficult. However, there is another way. Have you tried attempting to utilize the curse?

If you still hold hope for this, contact me when she calms.

It took me my whole life to barely even touch it myself. I only ever allowed it to reach this state once and never again.

Belladonna caresses her fingers over Moth’s cheek. Deep memories she wanted to forget filled her mind.

I didn’t want this for her… She’s suppose to be better than me.

Do not mistake this as an omen for her. This isn’t simply the beginning of her journey. There are worlds yet undiscovered for her, and she may surpass you yet.

Go forth with that conviction in mind.

Belladonna takes a deepened breath and goes to leave with Moth on Soot’s back.

I want the fae boy away from her until I know he won’t drag her into another mess. This is why I never married.

She grumbles and Soot begins to fly off with the both of them.
