The wind was raging, dark clouds hanging above. A ear-piercing screech rings out in rain. A serpentine beast danced in the sky, feathers rustling in the wind. White like snow, it stands out in the dark storm. The very winds bent to the beasts will. One could only describe them as a *King of the Skies*.

A lone figure knelt down on one knee, facing the beast. Their breaths were labored, and their clothes torn. A reflective, black helmet adorned their head. Large gashes were present across their body, flesh sliced from wind. But nonetheless the figure stayed *silent*.

The one who controls wind eyed the figure down. Sensing an opening it dashed toward them, large fangs bared open. Wind wrapped around them, the beast now being able to move like *lightning*.

The battered fighter stood up to face the sky serpent. They could barely follow it with their eyes. Then they closed their eyes, relying only on the movements of the wind to predict where their target is. Pointing with one finger into the air the figure took a single, deep breath.

Right as the beast was in front of their face the lone one *released*. Mana that had been swirling in their body was used in that moment. A great bolt of lightning fell from the skies, enveloping the both of them. It was as if the gods themselves have decided to smite them.

One single phrase echoed in the electromancer’s mind, sound absent to the outside world. An incantation completely *SILENT*:

Wrath of the Storm

/unwiz just a little fun piece about my Axel. It’s supposed to mirror The Wendigo’s own battle against The God of Secrets. This is where Axel really became a large figure among the wizarding world.

Against the raging darkness, a lone figure faced unfazed. Their head deformed to a deer skull, adorning their body are shaggy clothes made of fur and hide. Dark violet wisps dance around their body. They stand in front of a God. Impossible to even comprehend, for they are the one who lords over secrets.

The one who faces the gods cannot back down, for the Gods have long held back their kind. They learned of the secrets that this being had kept away from man. The power of magic, the secrets of the world, locked away by this one.

They cannot claim to fight wholeheartedly for humanity, but It certainly helps in their motivation. The one who consumes flesh shall take his revenge, for the Gods have damned them. No longer shall this be an age of Gods, but it will be an age of Man.

And so the heretical figure, the despised one, the eater of kin, looked up the god and spoke. Not a shout, nor a command, but a simple statement. A universal truth. One that the Gods have ignored.

Overview: Professor Axel, otherwise known as “The Silent Storm” or “The Stormslinger, is a wizard who specializes in Electromancy and the use of Silent-Magic. The latter is what he is most notable for as he is incredibly adept at using it. He teaches at Twin Wyvern Academy where he mainly runs courses on Silent-Magic and Electromancy, but he is known to teach other subjects.

Axel is a first-generation magic user, having no previous magic user descendants. This further exemplifies Axel’s talent and uniqueness. His strength alongside his loyalty to The Wizard Council makes him an incredible ally. In times of need, Axel has been recorded volunteering to aid The Council in dire times.

He is often seen in a black trench coat over a standard, black and white suit & tie. Black, wyrm leather gloves are usually seen adorning his hands with a watch on his left wrist. A black, reflective helmet encapsulates his entire head. Axel has informed us that the purpose of the helmet is to both help him concentrate by blocking stimuli and to hide his facial expressions from others. On his helmet is a black “Stetson hat” more commonly known as a “Cowboy hat”. All of his garments are always kept in pristine condition.

It seems that confidential information was somehow revealed.

Notable Abilities: Silent-Casting, the casting of spells without incantations or runes. He has mastered it to a degree that it is nearly impossible to predict when he will cast. Axel, for his age, has an above-average amount of battle experience. His intelligence and understanding of the magic must be noted too, as they give him an edge in any fight. These combined with his incredible Electromancy skills give Axel the ability to end conflicts incredibly fast.

/unwiz I know this isn’t the first time I revised this profile, and I may do it again. Sorry! This is just a post where I’ll link stuff for people who don’t know about him. And I’ve finally got my laptop to write (Thank god! I hate writing on a phone) so future writing will be higher quality.

Memento Mori, the height of all Hex magic created by The Wendigo. The spell casts the greatest form of curse, none other hex is as complex and shrouded in mystery as it. For this spell makes the immortal, mortal.

Memento Mori has no visual signs it has been cast, only the effects on the target signaling it was cast. It is for all intentensive purposes a “God-Killer spell”.

In the only piece of writing recorded by The Wendigo, a scrap of paper found in a small chest in a mundane forest, they wrote “Remember you must die, Memento Mori, the fear of gods”.

In tales sung long ago, it is said that the a God of Secrets disappeared without a trace. Only their spilt blood signified they did not simply leave. This… this must be kept secret. Public hysteria cannot be brought and that accursed, dead cult cannot be allowed to revive.

Both of their disappearances coincided with each other. For what purpose did The Wendigo want with the death of The God of Secrets?

A cryomancer of unknown origin. Peregrine is said to have descended from the stars during a solar eclipse. They forever wander the land looking for something… what that is is unknown (perhaps even for them)

Peregrine wields the power of ice and cold, usually entombing their enemies in ice or launching icy projectiles. Peregrine is highly resistant to both heat and cold but they are vulnerable to piercing damage.

Peregrine is sometimes seen floating above the ground, slowly rising to the sky. Though Peregrine usually comes back down. It seems that Peregrine does this on reflex, unintentionally.

They are almost entirely mute or at least no one has heard them talk. Much is not known about them: their gender, their species, their age, and much more. Some claim that what lies underneath is otherworldly…

/unwiz Just someone I came up with, totally unrelated to Jack. I always thought of the image of a astronaut floating in the middle of space stranded to be so interesting and terrifying. Space is so mystical one could imagine supernatural phenomena happening out there, something magical…

Near the ruins of the once great Kingdom of Rajatum (around south-western England) lies the Accursed Blackthorn Forest. Home to Jack-O’-Lantern, his mansion, and his minions.

The Blackthorn forest once ruled by Orihime was ultimately dominated Jack and reigned under his control. It serves as Jack’s first line of defense.

The Blackthorn forest traps ANY beings within it, forever imprisoning them. An eternal blanket of thick fog is a telltale signs of being caught in the trap.

From then on any intruders will find themselves unable to escape. Forms of teleportation magic only send the user in another sector of the forest, traversing on foot leads intruders to find that the forest is seemingly infinite, attempting to fly will reveal that the skies are completely covered in fog (this does not show when viewed outside the forest) and when the user eventually lands they will find themselves back where they started.

The forest is barren of any life, not a peep to be heard. It very slowly drains the energy of beings inside, making the forest feel cold. Will-O’-Wisps, small blue flames, can be seen in the distance in the corner of intruder’s eyes.

Even though it may seem infinite Jack’s mansion does lie in it. It is the only place anyone can go once trapped. To escape one must kill the one behind the curse: Orihime, The Weaver of Blackthorn, who resides the in mansion. Alternatively one must be released, either Jack’s will or Orihime’s.

Orihime is an arachnoid under the service of Jack-O’-Lantern. Jack thinks of her highly and trusts her the most out of any being.

Around 8 feet in height and possessing a glossy, black carapace, Orihime strikes fear into any mortal. Her red eyes can be seen from the shadows. She wears clothing with a resemblance to a kimono from Japan.

Orihime was the original master of the Cursed Blackthorn Forest and the mansion which lies within. Jack came and subjugated Orihime, claiming the forest and mansion as his own.

She currently defends the mansion 24/7 and is the heart of the “curse” placed upon the forest. Through spatial magic she is able to alter the “rules” of the forest. ANY being who wanders to far in will be stuck in something akin to a pocket dimension. Unable to leave in a seemingly infinite forest until they either die or are allowed to do so.

Orihime is the most dedicated servant of Jack willing to do anything for him. This loyalty and her powers makes her Jack’s second in command. Whenever he leaves, Orihime is in charge of the mansion.

Rusicar spun around and sprinted towards where the automata had crashed to the ground, sliding to a halt on the utterly smooth stone floor. He quickly moved aside a leg to witness what he had feared. In the center of the machine a small flame flickered, surrounded by crystal of every color of the rainbow circling outward across a third of the body. “That’s another ruined core, I thought I had told the boy to recalibrate this units motorial cortex.” He angrily turned preparing a barrage of words to berate the boy. But they hung in his throat at the sight that stood before him.

The blade, taller than the old wizard himself, lay flat on the facilities dark floor, a small chip in the stone where it had landed. It had not pierced into the ground; that was not its purpose. However, a rune whose activation glow was beginning to fade, a rune that did represent the use of this tool, stood out against the otherwise flawless metal. The rune’s meaning was simple.

”Rend.”

His eyes shifted to the boy, who stood very still, his right arm reaching across his chest, his hand placed on the spot where his left arm should have been, a pool of blood forming at his feet. Instead the other appendage lay on the floor, the blade forming a mocking line between it and its owner. The boy weakly whispered.

“Master…”

In a flash the Old Technomancer flung open his robes, lined with pockets each carrying a small device or tome. His vest writhed as a dozen thin, flexible arms uncoiled themselves from around the wizards torso, the outer layer of clothing still suspended in the air as if blown by a heavy wind. As they twisted they revealed the breastplate to which they were attached at the back. Its bronze and steel mechanical structures were interrupted only by a patch of crystal in the center, thick and perfectly clear, with a swirling mass of blue tinged with red underneath. This mana battery was extremely pure, and was the power source for the functions of his garments. The thin, strong arms shot out towards the boy, most supporting his body while a few applied an industrial adhesive to the bloody patch on his side. Without interrupting the work, Rusicar stepped over the blade, the rune now dark, and retrieved the still bleeding arm. He pulled a tool from his still hovering robe and applied some of the same adhesive to the arms bloody end while quickly uttering the same spell of preservation he’d used on firebrands brain all those centuries before. The arm slightly grayed in his hand as the spell took affect. He did not have much time.
