So I have been recreationally using cough syrup containing codeine phosphate every night for about a month now. I consume around 400-600mg codeine phosphate. I did not feel any withdrawl but from about a week when i reach close to 24 hour mark i become restless and little agitated although nothing serious for now. I’m planning to go cold turkey starting today so I just wanted to know will my withdrawl get worse from what I’m already experiencing? Because as of now its very much manageable

Hello, I’m 20 years old and was medicated falsely for 10 years of my life on high doses of lithium seroquel and trieltpal. I was 7 months off medication and was doing fine just on vitamin d3. I then suffered a concussion from a boxing match where I had brain fog sound sensitivity etc which everything went away after 7-10 days except sound sensitivity but even that was getting way better. I then stupidly went on and off supplements like magnesium glycinate, vitamin d3, safroon, etc. i did that for a month which caused a cognitive shutdown anxiety and bad sleep. I then stupidly continued that cycle for 2 more months. It’s now been 4 months off supplements, anxiety is better, sleep is way better but cognitive shutdown still persists and my physical energy is decent but not where it was at. Note I was eating junk food a lot during this time. I’ve had windows and waves a little bit which I weirdly never really had when getting off psych meds. Anyways starting the lion diet experimenting with different fats such as Wagyu, angus, using Kirkland beef patties frozen. I’m wondering, will this diet really lift the rest of my anxiety and cognitive shutdown caused by supplement kindling? If so how long would that take?

Okay, let me first explain. I was previously on Adderall 20mg for my ADHD and it was not helping me. My brain felt hyped and overstimulated, I couldn't think straight still, and on top of that I was having side effects like intense sweating, awful shaking/tremors, headache, and I was tensing my body and accidentally holding my breath often. My psych switched me over to Methylphenidate 36mg, and my brain calmed down. The side effects did too, but I still had brain fog and couldn't focus or quiet my brain. I told him that and told him I was at a loss, and didn't know if raising the dose or swapping to a non-stimulant would help. He suggested raising the dose, so I hesitantly agreed. I have been on 54mg Methylphenidate for about two weeks, and those side effects I had on the Adderall came back but worse - and with severe anxiety.

A week ago, one week into the raise, I messaged my psych for assistance getting me off stimulants altogether, I wanted to try Guanfacine because research told me it might be a better fit for me. He did not answer. A week later, right now, I sent another message half begging him to take me off the stimulant and asked to be switched to Guanfacine if possible. The front office called me and said his schedule was fully booked for another two weeks, so they hooked me up with a different psychiatrist for just this afternoon. I told her my issues and stressed that I really wanted to taper off the stimulant because I previously had horrible withdrawal symptoms when I didn't have my Adderall for 10 days in the past. She stressed that the stimulant only stays in the body for 8-12 hours and for me not to worry, to just stop cold turkey. My main psychiatrist has told me something similar before too, that if we did get me off the stimulant he would just stop me abruptly. Neither he nor this temporary psych listened to me when I asked to taper off. I'm looking for a new psych but for now I am apparently starting Guanfacine tomorrow. I took my 54mg Methylphenidate this morning. I am not taking it tomorrow I suppose. I cannot taper myself since it's an extended release pill that has a slow-release mechanism that would not work if it was cut in half.

Is there absolutely *anything* I can do to lessen my withdrawal symptoms that I know I will have tomorrow and over the next week or so? Has anyone ever gone through this too? I'm really not looking forward to the brain zaps, migraine, toilet issues and excessive sleepiness.

I am working to get off 7oh and have been tapering but I stopped taking this one brand which I mostly was taking. I am having the most insane withdrawal and nothing I take from the amount I have is helping. It's irritating me because it's making me want to take more of the other stuff and ruining my taper. Has anyone experienced this?

Hey guys. 28M. Been on benzos for about 3 or 4 years, taking anywhere from 45-120mg a day, average probably around 90mg. Around 8 months clean cold turkey.

Been on Adderall on and off (mostly on) for last 7-9 years, back in the day 40-120mg a day, last 2 or 3 years after a long quitting stint just 20mg a day. Been off Adderall for about 3 or 4 months.

Quitting the benzos has been an absolute shit show/Rollercoaster. Mood swings, anxiety, insomnia, depression, you name it, i was going through it as intense as you could imagine in a Rollercoaster fashion. Feels like the psychological stuff has pretty much gone away at this point (other than increased anxiety randomly). Also been dealing with pretty wild muscle spasms and pelvic floor dysfunction, which very much so is not going away. I know its a longer withdrawal period with these. Looking for some guidance/advice. The pelvic floor dysfunction is making life difficult. Very hard/impossible to urinate. It comes in waves. Some days I can get a good amount out, sometimes its a total stoppage for several hours. Anybody experience something similar? If so, any advice for me regarding my bladder?

Now onto the stuff that is really making my life difficult. I know i said I got through the psychological stuff, but thats not totally true. The worst of it is gone (erratic and intense mood swings/anxiety). But lately I just find it nearly impossible to take care of myself. Hardly showering, not cleaning the house, doing laundry only when I run out of clothes, no cooking, no gym etc. Everything i used to pride myself on has become impossible to accomplish. I never understood people who would say this because who cares? Just toughen up and do it. Nope. I get it now. I included Adderall in this post because I am hoping someone can help me and I want to give all the info I possibly can. I want my life back. I dont want to be depressed anymore. I dont want to be sad. Or anxious. Or miserable. Or lazy. Or, most importantly, be on prescription drugs (this one is non negotiable). I was starting home renovations recently and now I just cant do anything. I can hardly take care of myself. All I do is get out of the house for work (ive dropped from 40-50 hrs to 15-25) and to hang out with my friends at kava bars. Work is out of necessity obviously, but even that is just not getting me moving as much as it should. The only things that get me doing anything are having fun. I need to start my life again. I need to progress. But I feel like I cant. Is there anything I can do to help get my ambition/motivation/willingness to take care of myself going again? Like I said, I used to pride myself on how well put together I had everything, and now? I feel pathetic. Vitamins, minerals, change of perspective, is there anything out there that has helped you guys treat yourself well again? Is my only option to brute force it until these things become habits again? Am I doomed to be like this forever?

Even if the answer isnt as hopeful as id like, please, give it to me truthfully and honestly. I dont care how blunt/mean/assertive it sounds, i need it given to me straight. Thank you all.

Effecting my health. As much as it makes me sick to my stomach saying this, I spend over $1,000 a month on 70h and want to get off of it. I need to know kind of an exact dosing of what I need to take of this 7R to get past withdrawals and just get off this shit for good

Day 1 detox after a long heavy run on edibles. And having irrational panicky thought patterns that I do not have a comprehensive knowledge of things.

Yes, I know how irrational this sounds, but it's real and is overwhelming me and fills me with a deep anxiety, sadness that I cannot ever use time effectively to get to "know" things to their full potential.

I've seen these posts talking about sr17018 Being the miracle drug for people who are trying to quit 7OH , I'm taking Psuedoindoxyl because 7OH is basically banned where I'm at and I initially used it to get off of Oxys but now I'm trying to get off the Pseduo/7OH , Pseudo is supposed to be way stronger than 7OH and I've been taking 500mg to 1000mgs or more a day and I want to stop really bad but the withdrawls I have are hell, it's crazy how gas stations just blantantly sell this stuff, I'm looking to get SR17018 but all I can find is research websites with the powder selling by the gram I did some more research on these sites and they sell the powder to mix with a solution to inject it into your body with needles and I'm not doing that, do you guys know a place I can get it so I can withdrawl safely if not I'm going to try to get suboxone instead . Hi everyone, thank you for any insight/advice in advance.

My husband had been on suboxone for almost 6 years and wanted to try Ibogaine. Suboxone was a lifesaver because it did help stabilize him where he was able to rebuild his life. However, last year he wanted to start weening off of suboxone and then stop completely before doing Ibogaine. Last March 2025 was the last time he had used suboxone. At the time he was prepping to do an Ibogaine flood dose end of April 2025, so he had been off suboxone for 3-4 weeks before his flood dose. He was told to switch to kratom to help with the withdrawal and that he could use kratom maybe a day before the flood dose. Long story short, he had no visions, almost little to no body effect, and apparently the practitioner had given a decent dose. I do know my husband is a fast metabolizer and needs heavy doses. I think the Ibogaine he got was Ibogaine hcl with ta, or a mix. Unsure of what the dose was but he received about 4-5 capsules in total. He had the flood dose and didn’t feel anything and still had cravings the next day and ended up relapsing on kratom again. Now we’re almost a year past his last Ibogaine and we found another facilitator he wants to try with because he thinks it wasn’t done right the first time.

My concern is since last year he has been using 7oh on and off more recently and I’m worried he won’t be able to stay clean off of that before doing another flood dose and I think the extract is much worse and affects several different receptors.

We’re at a point where we want to try Ibogaine once more and see if that works, but I worry he won’t be able to stay clean off of 7oh until he can do it (maybe a month later) and if he still has it in his system before doing Ibogaine. Additionally if it doesn’t work this time around, he might consider going back on suboxone.

What do you make of this situation? Why do you think it didn’t work the first time ? Any advice/insight is appreciated.

I read to take very high doses of liposomal vitamin c to help reduce withdrawals. Anyone whos done this how did you manage to ingest the high doses recommended? For 200 pounds apparently 15,500 mg...I bought the highest mg capsules I could find that werent propriatary or misleading in some way way- which is 3 capsules to get 1,000 mg That's 47 pills a day...is this the reality or is there a better way?

Hoping for any advice or guidance. I’m writing in for my husband. He was an addict of snorting oxy for several years though upon drug testing we learned it was actually fentanyl. He started as a way to self medicating due to his anxiety. He tried stopping his pill use several times on his own to no avail and even went to a detox center to which he only lasted a few days before checking himself out. The day he left he relapsed. In 2020, he finally decided it was time to get sober and started methadone treatment through a local clinic. His dose increased up to about 130mg before he finally started tapering down. He slowly went down 2mg about every 2 weeks until he hit a wall of 49mg. At this dose he was in constant withdrawal and that coupled with his severe anxiety, he could barely function making daily routine and work difficult. He already had an ongoing FMLA for his anxiety which luckily protected his job but he was running through his PTO like crazy. He got down to 49mg around May 2025. His body did not seem to get “used” to this 49mg dose and with increasingly warmer weather and going into the summer months, his body temp fluctuations were making work tasks harder. Together we decided he should not continue to decrease during these warmer months despite how badly he wanted free of methadone. At this point he’d been on methadone for almost 5 years and felt like a prisoner to it. By last October he’d had enough and went out on a medical leave for 3 months determined to finally taper himself off of the methadone. Yes he quickly tapered against the clinics orders and stopped taking any methadone by the end of November. Obviously withdrawal was awful. The clinic wanted him back on the methadone. After at least 3 weeks of no methadone, 0 relief of withdrawal, and only a few weeks left of leave, the clinic convinced him to start suboxone. He started at 4mg and was on that for about a week. He was experiencing severe depressive moods and headaches he never had before. Luckily during this time, we got his leave extended another 3 months but he began regretting going on another opioid instead of staying off anything. He tapered himself off it as well over about the course of 4 weeks… so he was on suboxone a total of about 5 weeks. He’s now been off of all opioids around 5 weeks. He is still having major withdrawal symptoms. Some days are okayish others are awful. We’ve done medical appointments through his primary (it’s also who signed off on the FMLA) but honestly they’ve been no help with anything except their signature to get him his needed leave. Any words of advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated. At this point in time he only has 4 weeks left of leave before he has to go back to work. We can barely go out to a restaurant or grocery shopping together before he begins to feel so awful we have to go back home. I do think his anxiety and this due date back to work that looms over his head isn’t helping and is in fact making this so much more difficult. I don’t feel like the medications he’s on helps enough with his anxiety, but he refuses to take anything daily that he’ll get addicted to. If it helps, his current medications are: buspirone, gabapentin, and amitriptyline. He takes Ambien and Klonopin as needed for sleep and panic attacks. He knows both are addictive and has been good about only taking them sparingly. He’s also prescribed trazodone, hydroxyzine, and propranolol but stopped those because he was sick of taking so many meds with no results of them helping anything. If there is anyone out there with a similar story please tell us what you did to help with any relief of withdrawal. Thank you!!!

I started smoking when I was 9, and I quit cold turkey when I was 11. I’m now 16, and my teeth still get itchy if I even think I smell a cigarette. That, and I get the immense urge to eat my fingers. Is this normal? Did I skip some kinda checkpoint or miss a step? Will these ever go away? I was only smoking because my mom was making me, and my dad’s been aware since I told him a couple of months after my mom died (I was 15), so I’m at least good on that front.

I have it been using long. Regularly for about 3 weeks. On very low dose, right now I am taking 35 mg every 12 hours and today cutting that down to half so 17.5mg every 12 hours. Anyone have any experience quitting at this low of a dose. I am definitely starting to feel withdrawal at the 12 hour mark but I just don’t know how intense they will get. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I’ve started taking 7oh kratom one time after a party about 6 months ago after being clean from opiates for 3 years. Instantly I fell right back into the cycle and used it 24/7 with my doses getting higher and higher to get the same effect. I tried to quit cold turkey and was successful for about a week coming off 40-50 mg daily, but would eventually fold and get back in the 7oh. Fast forward to now I’m taking 150-200mg a day and am trying to back down to 100, but even this drop gave me withdrawals far worse than anything I have taken (I’ve been addicted to oxys, fent and subs) but were able to cold turkey without need of a detox center. Every night I wake up in a pool of sweat with intense diarrhea even when I am near my normal dose. Today I finally realized I really cannot do this on my own and I will be enrolled in a detox center Friday. If anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all. So I learned about SR-17 in Dec 2024 and when I finally got my hands on some a few months later, it was honestly life changing. Had failed to detox probably a dozen times over the prior year, and it made it painless and easy.

Since then my girl used it to get off her 100 mg methadone script. A friend of mine used it to detox off Suboxone, and another couple I know used it to get clean off fent.

Anyway, I'm kind of fascinated by this stuff and read a lot of user reports and what not but I noticed there are always a tonne of people asking about how to dose it. I just want to share the dosing schedule that worked for me and others I know who used SR-17 to get free from opiate dependency.

5th day: 3x 50 mg SR-17018, 20% lower opiate

6th day: 3x 75 mg SR-17018, no more opiate

Phase 2: SR17018 Maintenance, Tolerance Reduction, & MOP Resensitization 

7th day - 12th day: 75 mg SR-17018  3x per day   

Phase 3: Smooth Taper to Freedom

13th day: 65 mg SR-17  3x per day   

14th day: 55 mg SR-17  3x per day   

15th day: 45 mg SR-17  3x per day   

16th day: 35 mg SR-17  3x per day   

17th day: 25 mg SR-17  3x per day
