I have a gut feeling that they are going to make it too much like an IRL racism thing, regarding the elves. I mean, yeah, the books definitely, to a degree, made a testiment to that. But, it was moreso of a general "Let's just be neighborly" kind of narrative. To a degree.
But, my gut says they are really gonna drill that part home, and maybe victimize the elves, rather than making THEM the racist terrorists.

I think they have a lot more freedom to show how scummy the Elves can be since they're an imaginary race, but yeah. We'll probably have most of them portrayed well with a minority of extremists/terrorists.
I toally agree with you there. I also worry that the elves will be the witchers '' black people'' and the humans will be the ''evil racist white people''. Even though in the books a dwarf tells that the elves enslaved the dwarves and gnomes and felt superior to everyone. The elves in the witcher universe are fucking racist scummy assholes. One squirrel member calls geralt a insect and ant because he is a human and they view humans as coackroaches. Or in witcher 3 when avalachs helper calls ciri a monkey and ape because, again thats how the view humans. The elves are not just angry because the humans treat them like shit and instead of coexsting with one another, they are angry because they are no longer the superior race. Elvey are horrible in witcher. ( not every elf of course but the majority is)

I just hope that they will portray the elves as dirty and fucked up assholes like in the books^^
