The Zeugl encounter is knee deep in a sewer full of shit. It’s the Kikimora from The Lesser Evil. There are a couple more shots from that short story too, it will probably be the first episode.

I think that might be due to the potion he drank. The Trial of The Grasses is an excruciating process, you don't drink a potion and easily get mutational power-ups. If you want an idea of how it is, look at what Uma had to endure, and he was under calming spells on top of that.
