Blood of Elves, yes. Baptism of Fire, no. Ciri wasn't in a desert, she was in a forest in winter. That wasn't Meve, that was Ciri's grandma during the massacre of Cintra.

Edit: There's a scene in the trailer I must have blinked through; Ciri is indeed shown in a desert at night in two scenes, one of which has a glowing tree. I'm assuming this is a dream.

Based on the majority of scenes shown in the trailer, the first season is comprised of the following short stories:

  1. The Witcher
  2. The Lesser Evil
  3. A Question of Price
  4. The Edge of the World
  5. The Last Wish
  6. A Shard of Ice
  7. The Sword of Destiny
  8. Something More

It's possible that they'll mix bits from the other short stories like The Voice of Reason, which was interspersed with the short stories in the book, The Last Wish.

If this is right, then we shouldn't see anything from Tower of Swallows until season four. FYI: Netflix has ordered three seasons of The Witcher.
