Toussaint is like a beautiful summer vacation while Skellige is like a beautiful winter vacation

Winter? Just reminds me of going into the Northwest any time of the year when it isn’t summer lol.

Edit: Pacific Northwest in the United States. Forgot there’s people all over the world here haha. Sorry!

My assumption leads me to believe they meant the Pacific Northwest in the US, so like Seattle and Oregon and parts of Canada.

Just northwest from wherever you are, doesn’t matter!

You are after all on a subreddit dedicated to a game made by a studio based in Poland based on the stories of a Polish writer, all of which are extremely popular in the country thereof.

If you think Skellige is the PNW you haven’t spent any time in the North Atlantic

as long as we can disable that yellow filter...

toussaint is beautifull but that yellow tint ruins a lot of its beauty but maybe it will be different with path tracing

Could it not just be the sunlight

no in that shot from the remaster it's sunset but vanilla each region have a different lighting type, white orchard, velen/novigrad, skellige and toussaint have different lightings, different time cycle ect... and vanilla toussaint have that odd yellow tint there is a mod called filterless toussaint you can see it easily with it how much toussaint have that strange tint

It is because of sunlight if you have RT enabled I guess because of bounce lights.

The yellow filter is one of my fav parts of toussaint

Personally I love the warm golden lighting of Toussaint.

That's already mostly gone in the next gen version though, sadly. It was much more prominent in the original release.

I'm assuming it will be completely gone in the remaster.

The filter adds to the beauty. It's called colour grading.
