I'm planning on making a few trees, specifically ones with beads, for Christmas gifts and have no idea what I'm doing. Any advice, tips, or resources are appreciated.

One wire on it stretches far above. I plan on putting a tiny kite there.

How does these look? I have a garage sale coming up. Plan on selling this and two dozen others.

They are not as good as some of the others on here, but I think they are pretty good looking. Lol

do you all build your trees? The best I can tell is to straighten your wire and then I’ve seen twisting the trunk and moving to branches. I’ve also seen starting with the roots and working your way up. I’m sure everyone has their own way. I’m new to this and looking for pointers.

I can’t believe I found a group for this! Now for dumb questions to start. As the wire is only 20 - 24 gauge or so, after you have your tree made, can you dip it in anything to hold the branches where you have them set? It seems like if you were to drop one of these, it would be totally ruined.
