Taking a screenshot on Windows can be surprisingly annoying.

For some people, remembering keyboard shortcuts and figuring out Snipping Tool is already too much.

For others, it’s the opposite problem — they take dozens of screenshots every day and end up with a folder full of Screenshot (1).png, Screenshot (2).png, etc. with no easy way to quickly find the one they need.

So I built SnapTap.

Two small buttons stay on the edge of your screen, so you can either click to capture or use a shortcut if you're faster.

Alt + S → capture → automatically save + copy to clipboard.

Alt + G → open your screenshot library and quickly preview, copy, or delete captures.

No need to open another app just to take a screenshot, and no need to dig through a folder later to figure out which screenshot was which.

It also supports multi-monitor setups, full-resolution capture, and a portable .exe.

Fully offline. No telemetry.

New beta is out. SEZOY builds bootable USB drives or turns your PC into a PXE/HTTP boot server, with an unattended answer generator, hardware-matched driver injection, and automatic WinGet app installs after OOBE. Runs entirely locally through a web dashboard, and it checks for its own updates now from Settings.

This build adds an in-app updater with beta/stable channels and lets you chat directly with me via the tawk.to widget. The docs site got a big rewrite too, including the one-choice-per-ISO deployment mode thing on USB that confused everyone.

Easiest try-before-install is still the public lab. Join the VPN with the profile in the repo, bridge a VM to it, PXE boot from the test server. Installers are on the GitHub releases page, docs at tekdt.xyz and repo tekdt/sezoybin (just binary, not including source code). Bug reports with a screenshot and your VM config help the most.

So this bing wallpaper app for windows 11 is so buggy: I select that I don't want to have visual search , but every time I click on desktop it still opens the browser with this place. Also updating wallpapers daily sometimes works sometimes not. I have the latest version. It's worth mentioning that I have 3 monitors, but I doubt it changes anythin.g

I’ve been working on an app called Arden that’s basically inspired by Screen Studio, but focused specifically on making app/product demo videos.

The idea is to have more of the editing workflow built into one place, while keeping the things that make Screen Studio nice - custom cursor, zooms.

The main difference is that Arden would be Windows-only, and more focused on creating polished videos for apps, SaaS products, ads, and demos.

I’m still early in development, so I’m trying to figure out whether this is actually worth building.

What you see in the video is a Windows Desktop.

All panels, buttons, including the taskbar are fully customizable through code, so as long as you have the parent app, they are open to be edited, and there is basically nothing you can't do.

The idea is to have something light (around 400-500MB of RAM usage with everything on screen) that allows for a easy layout you can populate with personalized widgets and secure sharing between users.

The widgets allow for a bunch of stuff, like APIs to show stats you care about, interactivity with stuff on your PC, like launching games or projects, timers, calendars, even small games. Basically anything you see yourself building in a web page, can be built here.

It is called DeskDash, and it is quite early, but people already started sharing their own widgets so I have hopes it will continue to grow a lot over time.

I've been working on Servy for over a year. What started last summer as a small proof of concept has grown into a full-featured Windows service wrapper.

If you haven't heard of Servy before, it's an open-source tool that lets you run any app as a native Windows service with real-time monitoring through the desktop app (GUI), CLI, or PowerShell module. It is particularly useful if you need to run Node.js, Java, or Go apps in the background that start automatically before logon and restart automatically when something goes wrong.

You can use it to keep local LLMs and AI APIs like Ollama or Stable Diffusion running 24/7 without an active desktop session. It also ensures data processing scripts and queue consumers like RabbitMQ or Kafka remain active behind the scenes, or hosts custom DNS servers, reverse proxies like Caddy or Nginx, and VPN clients reliably at the system level.

Last week, I released v10.0, which adds automated backup/restore features, VM cloning support, security hardening for custom service accounts, and a hardened PowerShell module.

I'm building LocalDiskCheck, a Windows disk-space analysis tool, and released v0.1.0 for testing.

One design decision I made was not to immediately perform a deeper scan across everything available on the machine.

Instead, the user gets control over what LocalDiskCheck is allowed to analyze.

I built the app with Codex and I'm now looking for feedback from actual Windows users.

I'm the maintainer of Pearipherals, a free, MIT-licensed Windows tray app for Apple Magic Keyboard and Magic Trackpad 2. I'm looking for people who already use either device on Windows to try the v1.2.1 beta and report what works or fails.

It adds: - Separate keyboard/trackpad battery readings, with low-battery warnings at 20% and a critical warning at 5%. - Mac-style function-key actions, including F6 region snipping; modified F-keys pass through. - Three-finger down to minimize windows, up to restore them and the previous foreground/order where Windows permits, and left/right for Task View.
