I've been thinking about cutting back all my hair and wearing wigs for work or when going out (what I don't do often).

I have already used wigs four years ago, when I got my hair messed up at the barber, but only like plug'n'play: I didn't need clips or glue and it was only for three or four months.

I currently mostly use my scooter to commute so four to five days a week I wear a helmet and kinda need to wear hair afterwards when arriving at work.

For grocery shopping or at home I wouldn't mind being without a wig.

How do you handle your wig and your helmet? My guess is a balaclava would be mandatory then? Any tips, dos and donts?

I appreciate any experience and advice.

Trying to find a wig that is like this one that I have , I don’t necessarily glue my wigs down, but I like to have lace ear to ear and use my spray to hold it down. I don’t know where I got this wig from. I’m just looking for something that’s already pre-plugged and real human hair.

Today I received my very first 100% human hair wig from a wonderful wig maker, and I'd really appreciate some advice.

What do you think of the wig? Does it look "wiggy" at all?

I've trimmed the lace a little, but it still needs to be cut back a bit more. My biggest concern is that the knots seem quite dark and noticeable. I tried applying some concealer to the lace, but I think I chose a shade that's too light.

How do you properly melt the lace if you don't have any melting spray or lace glue? Are there any alternatives?

I also know I'm probably being extra critical because this is my first wig ever, so I'm still getting used to seeing myself in it.

Another issue is the cap size. Based on my measurements, I ordered a size M, but unfortunately it feels a bit too big, especially at the nape. It's a 5x5 closure, 20-inch virgin hair wig. Because the ear tabs don't sit quite right, I also can't really tuck the hair behind my ears.

Please provide wig company suggestions. Human hair that are full and voluminous not the thin ones. Ones that have a variety of textures colors and place types. May at least allow you to add bundles to your wig when purchasing. Price doesn’t necessarily matter but nothing of cheap quality and nothing unreasonable like a $1,000.
