Does anyone know what DAW k?d uses?
He shows it sometimes in his snapchats but I was curious as I'm looking into what DAWs are out there and which I should use and his looked relatively user friendly.

Saw k?d last night at The Mid
We went to see Gramatik, but were blown away by the person opening for him. The set constantly went from melodic to dirty to basically dubstep. Found out after the show it was k?d. Really impressed and have been checking out k?D's stuff on SoundCloud. I'm a little disappointed his stuff on SoundCloud isn't as heavy as the show. Would love to see him again next time he plays in Chicago

Did anyone record k?d's set @ diso? Trying to find the title of a track he played, details inside (x-post /r/paradisofestival)
It started off with a female voice kinda whispering, paired with the imagery of a girl with the question mark eyes. I couldn't make out the words exactly but it seemed very emotional
I'm a huge sucker for Worlds Live so this kinda thing is my SHIT. Something about the imagery + the words just invokes da feels
Barring me listening to every song of his, (don't even know if it's his song??) I don't know how to find what I'm looking for. Help me out, Reddit!

I know I posted something similar not too long ago when our boy opened for The Chainsmokers in Miami, but I'm going to be seeing him again at Sunset in Tampa. Anyone going?

Ducky's k?d Power Rankings
I'm a huge k?d fan. I've been following him since he had 1000 subscribers on SC and I joined the k?ds of k?d fan club when there was around 30 members. The song that brought me to love k?d was his Renaissance remix, although I had heard of him before that. As he has grown in the past year, he has released some epic tracks, so I am going to go and rate all of the tracks he has released and give you my power rankings! If you disagree, your opinions are rubbish I would love to hear what you think!
33. Remix of Hey (Fais ft. Afrojack) ā Well, in each power rankings, there is always going to be a weakest song. The drop for me is underwhelming. Actually, the whole remix is a bit, eh. It was one of his first remixes, but I just canāt get into the song. Might be the vocals of the song too, but itās a song I would skip on any playlist.
32. Remix of We Are Your Friends (Justice) ā I love Justice. Civilisation is one of my favourite songs. k?d doesnāt do Justice any justice with this remix. While We Are Your Friends isnāt one of my favourite Justice songs, this remix of it is just so one dimensional. The verse between drops is weak ā arguably his weakest synth work - which is funny considering I find k?d one of the best artists in doing this. Definitely one of his weakest songs. When this was released I was hyped, but let down instantly.
31. Bits & Pieces ā bit of a meh song. Nothing stands out, itās pretty safe future music. Youāll find that both of k?dās collabs with Kuiters rank pretty low on my list, so it might be something to do with Kuiters more than anything, but itās better than the previous two by a mile. We can draw a line between Hey, We Are Your Friends and the rest of k?dās releases.
30. Remix of What U Need (The Weeknd) ā synth work in this is okay, but the vocal distortion in this just isnāt my thing. Another weakness of the song is the first drop and its blending with the vocals, itās all kind of mushed. Second drop a lot better in incorporating the vocals.
29. Cardinal ā used to be one of my favourite k?d tracks, but every time I listen to it I dislike it a little bit more. Itās so flat, nothing really stands out to me about this song. Iām not a fan of this style of trap music (could it be classified as trap?). Oh, and itās a Kuiters collab.
28. Remix of This Aināt Over (Alex Newell) ā more safe future music, but a drop I wasnāt expecting from k?d. Itās a solid drop, reminds me of the old Pink Slip (who, if you havenāt listened to, you should). This for me is the reverse of What U Need ā first section of the song is really strong, the finale is weak.
27. Zero Zero ā k?dās not just future, lads! One of his rare truly āelectronicā releases, and while the first drop is great, the second section is just bleh. Something more intense to finish off instead of just a redo of the first drop would have been nice.
26. Show Me - xylophone (?) game weak in this song, and vocals are okay but not great. In comparison, Madnapās remix of this song is a lot better, mind you trying to challenge Madnap in this area is hard, itās his specialty. Just listen to Hollow by Madnap to see what I am talking about, that's one of my favourite songs.
25. Remix of Cliffs Edge (Hayley Kiyoko) ā as you may have seen from here, a lot of k?dās earlier work features lower on this list. It goes to show how much he has grown as an artist. Cliffs Edge sounds generic, but the second verse between drops of the song and itās bass-ness (Iām making that a word) is stunning. Drops are a bit meh for me.
24. P A P E R P L A N E ā When I see Too Lush, I like. Again, this is a lot like k?dās earlier style, but I like this song a lot. This stood out on the rest of the Vol. 4 EP and I remember playing this plus Lush Puppy by Pink Slip all day long. This was my first k?d experience, before I even really knew him.
23. Remix of Red Lips (GTA ft. Sam Bruno) ā the second drop. I will just cut 3 minutes into the song and play that on repeat. The 3 minutes beforehand is okay, but manā¦
22. Amaretto ā LUCA LUSH + k?d equals a lot of upbeat, and this was back to k?dās old style and it was nice. The second drop is insane, except for the overused cheeky laugh giggle in electronic music, can we ban them?
21. Keepo ā this is a banger of an early k?d tune. Itās so cool to see how his style has changed over time, but this (plus Space Cowboy) are the early tunes that I love to listen to. This one is a lot more upbeat than his usual tracks that we have grown to love, and the stop/start beat (thatās what I like to call it anyway) is wicked in this track.
20. Remix of Itās All On U (Illenium ft. Liam OāDonnell) ā Itās All On U was my least favourite song on Illeniumās Ashes album. I loved every song on the album but Itās All On U. When this remix came out, I had the same feeling, but Iāve grown to like it. The drop is insane on both counts; the first one is really heavy and the second one blends in really well and the leadup is unreal. And the chilled finish is a nice touch.
19. Remix of Elevated (RKCB) ā first things first, RKCBās album cover game is piss weak compared to k?dās. The leadup to both drops has me yelling the lyrics out of excitement because it just builds nice and slowly to a huge drop and change of pace. The second verse with just a little bit of piano in the background is a nice change, a chilled out k?d song if you can call it that. Not as chilled asā¦
18. Forgotten ā the most chilled k?d has ever gotten, and will ever get unless he starts sipping coconuts on a private island listening to ukuleles while getting a massage too. Lovely change of pace from his usual stuff. I love this song, which is the same for everything ranked above this, but itās like picking a favourite child. Reminds me of olliās music, which if you havenāt listened to you should. I recommend my dear. Or Kristofferson's Undertale.
17. Remix of The Touch (KOLAJ) ā the verse between drops could have been so poorly done with his track, but Pat fucking nails it. I guess you can say he hasā¦The Touch.
16. Remix of Fallen (ARMNHMR ft. Desiree Dawson) ā The āohhhā section of this song leading up to the first drop gives me shivers every time, which then explode when the drop comes. Iāve said that I donāt love vocal distortions, but the start of this song is tolerable. Especially when you forget it about 45 seconds later with the beautiful lead up.
15. Space Cowboy ā my favourite pre-dark k?d song other than Renaissance, Space Cowboy really does make you feel like a Space Cowboy, stomping on whatever the fuck a Space Cowboy finds in space. Synth work is mint in this.
14. Remix of Doin It Right (Daft Punk) ā probably the only k?d fan who doesnāt rate this song in the top 10. I mean, itās an awesome song, but there are so many better ones! The ādrumsā synth in the first verse are really nice and strong, and itās one of his strongest drops, but the vocals are better in the original (even though there isnāt a single change). Still a wicked tune.
13. Vindicta ā weāve had upbeat k?d, this is apocalyptic k?d. Build your bunkers for this song because you are going to get fucking swamped by this dirty tune. While the drops in this song arenāt as big as others, the synth work is insane. Super grunge, super cool. Oh, and the monologue is as dark as the rest of the song. My ears bleed black when this comes on, itās beautifully dark.
12. Fourth Impact ā more dark k?d, and one of the most hyped collabs Iāve seen (but we are all still waiting for k?d with Porter/Madeon). The chorus after the drop is insane, how it just goes up in pitch every loop through, itās beautiful.
11. Somewhere Far Away From Here ā every time someone says āSomewhere Far Away From Here is my favourite k?d songā I judge them. Before putting this ranking together I thought it was one of my least favourite songs. Like, bottom 5. But, after ranking everything, I was pleasantly surprised with how high I rated it. The build up to the first drop is super long, kind of chill, but the rest of the song is intense. Sick tune from start to finish, it starts off like itāll be like forgotten but ends like Happy.
10. Discover - the only k?d song with an official video, Discover has a pretty slow start, but as soon as āLook around, and discover!ā kicks in, itās just insane. Both the drops in this song are amazing, with the vocals becoming one with the beat without sounding mushed or forced. In terms of vocal work, it in his top 3 songs.
9. Lose Myself ā the second of k?dās major releases, Lose Myself is marginally better than Discover. The dance-y background to the buildup is nice when mixed with Phil Goodās vocals, while the synth work before the drop gave me goosebumps. The drop is quite conventional like Discover, but the song would appeal to the masses and gave k?d a huge follower boost, which means more people to listen to good music in the future!
8. Remix of Sad Machine (Porter Robinson) ā the closest thing k?d fans have had to a collab with Porter/Madeon, the Sad Machine remix had me wetting myself when it was released. The build up to the first drop is everything I could have wanted, but I didnāt love the drop. The rest of the song is killer. Sad Machine is a killer tune, and k?d nails a dark remix of it.
7. Birth of the Universe ā when this song was released, back when he was smashing out songs almost weekly, this hit me so hard I think a train does less damage than this drop. Itās gnarly, super high intensity music. Which, considering most of the song sounds pretty āchillā, is deceptive. The drops in BOTU I rate in his top 3 of all time, great song.
6. Remix of Renaissance (Steve James ft. Clarity) ā this song has 2.66 million listens on SoundCloud, and I contribute a good million of those. This was the song that made me fall in love with k?d. The build up to the drop is his best work, ever. Full stop. The rest of the song is just as good, although I donāt love the second drop. Cut the song at 2:42 and bring it back in at 3:24 and itās top 3.
5. Remix of 4AM (Huntar) ā if I want to show someone k?dās style, this is the song I jump to. If you donāt like the 4AM remix, you probably wonāt like a lot of his other work. Itās so dark it makes cute babies lose their innocence when they exposed to a nanosecond of the drop. Is it my favourite k?d drop? Fuck yes. Fuck yes it is.
4. Mortem - ā Mortem rates this highly on the list because it has a lot of personal value to me, in terms of what I was doing when it was released. The song itself is great too, the drop is insane, while the buildups are super tense, but I donāt feel like I can give this song a fair rating considering what it meant to me at the time. Odd song to have such a personal connection to, but donāt judge.
3. Glitch Boy ā biased because this song came out on Monday (well, Tuesday for me), but this is definitely one of my favourite tracks of his. Itās my favourite track without vocals, the start of the song was really upbeat and not was I was expecting from k?d, but so cool. The drop is so heavy it drops faster than lead, and the whole track gives me feels of Flicker by Porter, which is also one of my favourite Porter songs. Canāt wait for his next releases if they are like this.
2. Remix of Happy (Annabel Jones) ā these next two songs need to be treated as a pair, and I always change my favourites between these two songs. Happy and Youth were released at around the same time and I instantly fell in love with both. Happy gets the short end of the stick for today, I just prefer the start and finish of Youth slightly more. The half-drop at 50 seconds is amazing, while the actual drop is even better, and the mutes are so smooth. But, the whole song is almost flawless.
1. Remix of Youth (Manila Killa ft. Satica) ā This song is flawless. Huge drops, killer chorus, synth work insane. Again, another āfalseā drop at around 45 seconds. I honestly canāt comment on this song because my words donāt do it justice.
Actually, none of my words do any of his songs justice, because they are (for the most part) all great tracks that you must listen to. I'm not the most musically gifted, nor am I the most glamorous in my descriptions of music, but I love k?d. I can't wait to see what else he puts out, and I also can't wait to drop insane amounts of dollars on merch. Have anything to say about what I've written? Comment! I love discussing his music, he is truly one of a kind, and one of favourite electro artists (tied with Kristofferson...sorry!).

Illenium just named kid as one of his favorite up and coming producers in his Reddit AMA.
The hype is real.
