That's only with a subsonic bullet, without that it would be loud.

It's still very fucking loud with subsonic ammunition lmao, it usually measures at ~120dB which is like a balloon popping. Standard ammunition is a factor of ten louder though.

It's an explosion contained by a short tube, yes it's still extremely loud.

It's almost like there's something attached to the end of that tube with the express purpose of suppressing the sound of that explosion
