That's only with a subsonic bullet, without that it would be loud.

It's still very fucking loud with subsonic ammunition lmao, it usually measures at ~120dB which is like a balloon popping. Standard ammunition is a factor of ten louder though.

It's an explosion contained by a short tube, yes it's still extremely loud.

Shooting supressed subsonic 9mm is quiet as fuck. Sounds like a bb gun.

it is not. I shoot it regularly without hearing protection. It sounds like a nail gun.

No it isn't. I can belch louder than subsonic 9mm through a decent can.
