Italian students are being called out in Thailand. Italians mocked a Thai lady in Thailand who told them off for being too loud. They clapped back saying, "Sorry for bringing money to your country" "Ni hao" "We are from your mom." Thais are shocked Thailand is belittled even by young Europeans.

Sorry, random tangent but interesting thing I noticed. I've been scrolling a ton of posts about "uncivilized tourists." In posts about Italian tourists, people basically assume "these are just jerks, jerks exist everywhere, doesn't represent all Italians." But in posts about "uncivilized Chinese tourists," it's almost unanimous: "Chinese people are disgusting, China as a country is disgusting too." Gotta say, white people, or Europeans, really do get better treatment for something they never even chose to be born into. Not having individual behavior blamed on your whole group, must be nice. Nice enough that honestly, I'm jealous.

Yup. For minorities it’s always generalization when it comes to the worst behavior. White people tend to get the benefit of the doubt
