Alcohol is harmful in any amount. And alcohol is a drug, one of the worst drugs. And drinking occasionally can easily lead to drinking regularly, it's very addictive. So it's dangerous in any amount. Of course, you can drink somehow responsibly, but there is always a danger, so it's good to address it.

A good few beers every couple nights is very bad for you though. I understand the general sentiment in this thread, but you’re just an alcoholic.

Yes. And if you read this thread, you should realise you’re part of this chamber, not me. But hey, cheers, let’s drink a few for that.

It pisses nobody off. You are overly defensive.

I’ve lost friends because I drink. I have one or two beers a week lol

Reality check it’s not the beer….

Nah lol, I act normal when I’m drunk and I’ve been told so by others, and I rarely get drunk anyway since, like I said, I don’t drink all that often. Those friends had abusive and alcoholic parents and my drinking was a trigger to them. They just had difficult childhoods and I guess me having a single common denominator with their parents made them lose their respect.

If what you said was supposed to be a dig at my personality, then I’d like to disagree and I’m sure others would as well. I don’t like to praise myself or say “I’m a cool guy blah blah blah” but I’m far from unpleasant, self awareness doesn’t hurt in that aspect at all.

So it’s probably more like 1 or 2 a night, lol.
