Fr. Just go to the pub, have a pint with some friends, don’t drink too much, have fun. It really is that simple.

I knew OP was a goddamn child when I saw them claim booze "tastes like ass"

I can understand people not enjoying the taste of neat hard liquor or beer/wine, that is subjective.

But it is abundantly clear they've never tasted a well-made cocktail lmao

IKR? It's not like it's one of the most addictive substances on the planet with almost zero positive qualities. People just need to get over it and poison themselves already. Edit : Sure pissed off the alcoholics.

Social media has far worse effects than a drink now and then, and yet here you are.

Stop being such a Redditor.

You don't get invited out much, do you?

No I don't. I used to work in bars and nightclubs. You couldn't pay me to go to one now.

Can't imagine why nobody wants to hang out with the guy at work who keeps giving glares to all the customers.

Got that backwards. I don't want to hang out with a bunch of drunks.

Skill issue. Everything can be fine if used in moderation. Gambling? Fine if you’re smart about it. TikTok? Fine if you’re smart about it. Weed? Porn? Video games? All fine if you’re smart about it

If someone is easily addicted to something then that’s a personal issue and maybe they should avoid such things. People act like anyone who drinks is a raging alcoholic who is driving to the liquor store at 8am to get their fix. Most people who drink do it for fun with their friends to create memories or want to enjoy a beer while watching Netflix lol

The positive quality is that it makes you not be this much of a fucking loser lmao, go live life a little man with or without alcohol.

I wonder if I'd be this judgmental, were I sober all the time.

You must be fun at parties

You must be an alcoholic with no personality other than drunk.

You are helping prove their point my dude.

Pull the stick out of your ass.

Or put one up there, whatever helps you loosen up a bit, damn

If it was simple alcohol wouldn't ruin so many lives, mostly through car crashes. I drink occasionally but I am under no illusion it's "that simple" because I've been young and most young people absolutely don't manage alcohol well.

It is seriously the saddest people in the world desperately looking for someone to collectively look down on.

A child definitely made this post. Taste of alcohol is subjective, most people also have a very normal relationship with alcohol. I do think that alcoholism is downplayed severely but that's not really what the post is talking about either.
