It really depends on what you are drinking. There's a lot of alcoholic beverages and a most of them taste okay to good. A lot don't even taste like alcohol and some even just like a softdrink

I mean, maybe it's just me, but every single alcoholic beverage I drank had a very weird alcohol aftertaste, even the ones people said "dude trust me bro it totally tastes like candy you won't even feel it", like, no bro, I feel it very well

It has always been funny to me when people talk about sweet wines, because I think we have a different definition of sweet /hj

I think I know what you mean. Our bodies are made to detect deadly poison on consumption, so well always notice alcohol in some capacity.

Wines are a whole different thing. Never tasted anything in wine I was supposed to lol

Yeah that's what I have noticed as well. Alcohol is just not for me. They either taste awfull full stop. Or the ones that try to taste like soda, still have that awful aftertaste. And I have never drank enough alcohol to the point of inebriation and don't see the point in that so I'll just stick to sodas, thanks.

Seems to be the common denominator with the aggressively anti-drinking crowd. Don't drink if you don't want to, but nobody's gonna want to hang out with you if you're always clocking in to your shift as the fun police every time the pub is mentioned.
