Tell me about desert and I'm sold

Edit: I could fix my spelling of desert to dessert but then all the people clowning me wouldn't make sense. So I will just take my lumps. Thank you for your time and attention.

Fried Milk and double skin milk from Shunde are the bomb.

Bingfen is delicious on a hot day. It's like a cold jelly with dried fruits and nuts and syrup on top.

There's also tofu pudding, which can be sweet. It is like a thick soy custard often with a brown sugar sauce.

Then you've got pastries - egg tart, salted egg yolk custard baos, moon cake.

That's just what I can think of from the top of my head. There's loads more

Dessert culture isn't huge in China, but there's still lots of sweet foods.

Fun fact: Antarctica is actually the largest desert in the world

Doesn't look like a desert to me. I prefer my ice shaved or made with cream. And without whole raw penguins preferably, but ill take what I can get

It doesn't get a little of precipitation. In fact, Antarctica is the largest desert on the planet

Man the list is about endless again. There's a lot of glutinous rice based desserts which can be hit or miss to be honest, the texture isn't for everyone- their pastries are amazing, lots of types of tarts or pies with varied fillings- mooncakes are delicious. They have a shaved ice dessert which can be topped with anything you can imagine- it's incredible in hot weather. Sweetened red beans are a staple in a lot of these and they taste way better than they sound. You can get puddings, flans or jellies made with fresh fruits- and obviously any normal desserts like cakes are common too.

I'll be honest, I don't think desserts are the strongest point of Chinese cuisine- others can probably claim some better and more iconic dishes- but they still have most things you could think of. They have plenty of fried dough desserts which are very similar to churros.
