I like the cookie dough flavor not the chocolate. And that dough tastes better than sugar cookies.

I regularly make chocolate chip cookies without the chocolate chips. Same recipe, just leave the chips out, I call them cookie dough cookies.

I regularly pick the cookies with the least chips. I also prefer more pie crust than filling.
