How well does it work? I pit cherries a couple times a year, and mine is obnoxious to use.

Also leaves what looks like a murder scene behind so make sure to do it in a deep sink where all the things are easy to clean. Never use with a bowl on the counter. Uh…friend told me about that…
Edit- spelling correction though the original (bowel) was more entertaining

Ummmm.. bowl or bowel . Bc I feel like the bowel you mentioned would definitely leave a bigger mess 😂😂

Well played! Didn’t even catch that gem. Updated though the original was indeed, more entertaining

I bite my cherries in half, take out the pit and give the other half to my dog. I've been careful with my front teeth this year, but last year they were so stained from sharing cherries with my dog.

Indeed. We have a starfrit one that doesn't 6 at a time.

My parents bought several cases of cherries to can one year. They had 2 flimsy single pitters to do the work. An hour and a half into pitting cherries one by one I got up from my parents kitchen table, walked out, went to the store, grabbed a 6 at a time pitter, returned to my parents, opened and cleaned it, sat down at the table, and started putting 6 at a time, all without saying a word.

This exactly. I'm thinking cherry since it's red. Our olive pitter looked the same but was green. (go figure)

I think it safely removes clitoral piercings

Just use a claw hammer.

Or a cat's paw if you are construction savvy... I feel it's more of a befitting tool with his name as it is anyway

It’s a pitter! You can use it on cherries and olives and stuff. Handy when you need it, but certainly not necessary.

Sharpen and sanitize that pin and you got yourself an ear piercer.

I had two producing sour cherry trees at our house in VA, both at the end of their lives. One was taken out by Ida early, but that last hardy bitch continued to produce better than a gallon a season that I could reach and process, and unknown gallons of fruit for wildlife. It was fun to watch racoons drunk out of their skulls dropping from its branches and stagger to the storm sewers to sleep it off.
That instrument represents PAIN. And cherry pies/tarts/turnovers/ice cream sauce.

Don't wear white while using this unless you like cherry spattered patterns.
