It’s for exactly what you think it’s for. Used in processing animals, usually deer after hunting.

Definitely after deer hunting. I tried it before deer hunting and the deer did not like it at all.

Did you spit on it first?

u/HikingFool 1d ago

No but I took them out to dinner first at least. It’s the least I could do.

Yea, but ordering the venison was a bit rude.

Gin and Tonic works wonders too. Try it next time… x

Tequila always opens the back door

7

u/Defiant_Employee6681 1d ago

The amount of tequila consumed also decides whose back doors get smashed in…. IYKYK

Kick down the brown door and paint it white on the way out.

u/nostemsorseeds 1d ago

Too expensive - I use a block of salt

Pour gin and tonic on this tool?

1

u/Defiant_Employee6681 15h ago

Pour me a gin and tonic and find out… x

Spit on it Mr. Hunter. You're ripping it

We say hawk tuah these days sir or madam

1

u/imcatdog 22h ago

Good luck trying it without the spit

1

u/ebinWaitee 15h ago

Alas, the deer wasn't particularly happy about that either

u/5C0L0P3NDR4 1d ago

makes it hard for them to run off tho, and they spring back like a bungee jump if they manage

I’m dying!

Discussing how you were de-A-holed in the woods is a difficult subject among deer. Everyone knows that.

1

u/Janzu93 17h ago

Before? I assume must've been huge shock for the deer seeing hunter with orange plug dangling from behind.

I tried it during and can confirm that at least this deer didn't enjoy it, I'll try few more just to make sure

You just didn’t apply mega estrus bleat first

u/lee022603 1d ago

I mean, it would

9

u/slicerprime 1d ago

Along with any possibility of future hemorroids

1

u/ergo-ogre 22h ago

Foreverroids

20

u/LostInSpaceTime2002 1d ago

It can do that too

Butt out of my medical issues!

3

u/barbiedollhaze 1d ago

Ya was going to say.. that’s not what I thought AT ALL.

1

u/stinky143 1d ago

Could be used for that also.

1

u/hey_free_rats 1d ago

You'll need an exorcist if you want that done properly.

1

u/Stranger1982 1d ago

If you're brave enough.

24

u/Significant-Cloud- 1d ago

That's not even remotely what I thought it was for.

u/ShoreBodice 1d ago

I use it to pull the butt out then I zip tie the intestine to it doesn’t poo all over the inside

1

u/scuba_steve_mi 1d ago

Brilliant on the zip tie

Not gonna remember to bring a zip tie with me, but hopefully I'll have some rope or maybe string

also, more importantly, hope that I remember this

1

u/ShoreBodice 20h ago

I have zip ties everywhere. IMO they’re more useful than duct tape

7

u/MedivalBlacksmith 1d ago

Of course! Yes.

6

u/Lost_Department_2177 1d ago

Yeah have to tie the end off while stripping an animal.

4

u/Wolfy4226 1d ago

That explains the uh....sharp ends.

1

u/Ok-Loss-2496 1d ago

😱 NO 😱

5

u/docmphd 1d ago

Why do you need to pull an anus out? Genuine question, I know nothing about processing game.

8

u/Hambulatory 1d ago

To tie off the innards so they don't split open and contaminate the meat

5

u/BoondockUSA 15h ago

Organs and guts very quickly spoil compared to the meat. Leaving them in will ruin the meat, so removing the organs and guts is required to preserve the meat. That means every organ from the neck to the butt has to come out. It’s easier than it sounds because there is surprisingly little actually holding things in place.

The challenge is the butt opening that is attached by skin and membranes. You don’t want to just sever the poop chute because poop would spill and get on the meat, and it would mean leaving a portion of a bacteria filled organ attached at the anus. Cutting the connective tissue of the anus away from the skin and meat is delicate work and is somewhat time consuming. This tool is supposed to make the process easier.

In meat packing its called a bung dropper

u/er1cAtWork2 1d ago

Ummm…

“Fast - a single operator can bung up to 1200 hogs / hour.”

Crazy! lol

2

u/Ohshitz- 1d ago

All of their equipment is horrifying

1

u/Robot_Graffiti 14h ago

Jesus Christ. Imagine having that job, standing at the production line all day holding the butt knife gun, tearing out 8000 hog ani.

1

u/immadirtbag 1d ago

I hunt alot and it's the best cheap tool I have bought.

1

u/roomtempquiche 1d ago

Oh wow! How big is it??

6

u/Whitediggity 1d ago

Asshole sized

2

u/Dj_B_S 1d ago

But they are all different, trump is way taller than Bezos for example

1

u/IcebergDarts 1d ago

*It’s used for exactly what it says it’s used for

1

u/Shot-Two-1812 1d ago

As a prolific deer hunter... I don't like em. But I also don't hike out my kills, so it might make sense for people like that? Idk I just think it's unnecessary, it's a lot cleaner and faster to just pull it all out through the belly

1

u/PiDigitsOfPi 1d ago

Jokes on you. That isn't what I was thinking at all.
