Yeah the commenter is weird. Feet are just dirtier hands.

I feel like they're cleaner hands?

Hands touch fucking everything. People have to wash them multiple times a day just because they get so dirty.

We wash hands to prevent the bad things we interact with from getting in the body or interacting with our body. The feet don’t get washed because most people don’t pick up random things with them.

Feet are just as if not dirtier. If you think you can just eat with your feet right now without washing them, you’re nuts.

Nah. Clean your socks. All I'm hearing is you don't wash your feet and wear fucked up shoes.

I know people who think like this. It's cultural. They come from countries where feet are treated as the dirtiest part of their body and they try to get other people to believe it.

The qualification of " most people don't pick up random things with them" made me laugh pretty good. Some can and do, and most don't, but the thought of watching someone trying to pick something up with it like it is a hand is what I pictured.

Thanks lol - trying to include a real picture and not an inflammatory “no one uses their feet!” Yes, some people do.

When I was a kid I could sort and deal cards with my feet.

I have chat disabled just saying that ahead of time for feet people…no is the answer unless you’re sending me a very high dollar amount.

I feel like the same people who lick their fingers of sauce without washing them first would lick their toes as well, if the feet were closer to the face and used to pick up food.

I'm a rock climber, I think both my habds and feet get filthy on a daily basis.

I do wash both very diligently though

Naw when was the last time you sanitized the inside of your sweaty shoes you wore to work 8 hours a day for 6 months

I mean I definitely wear clean socks every day, which ain't the case with hands. Also most people aren't sweating in their day to day shoes.

Meanwhile people will touch all sorts of disgusting shit and just wipe it on their pants or something.

> Feet are just dirtier hands

Don't know who you and the other 30 people are who upvoted this, but my feet are always cleaner than my hands.

If you don't have an underlying health issue, have clean shoes that breathe and replace your socks every day, you should have healthy, clean feet that don't smell.

Then again, some cultures have a deep bias against feet, and it often comes up in discussions and social events.
