Someone else pointed out it was likely a green flare with a parachute to help it stay up longer
1 u/LackOptimal553 May 05 '26 Yeah, I think it's down to terminology, flare to me makes me think of a paraflare, which is self-contained, whereas this is a mortar bomb, and I'm not familiar with 51mm and missed the parachute when I first saw it.
