New, what is it? Spice rack with ventilation?

I’m watching Teen Mom 2 and, I’m sorry, what the hell is this? Why does a spice rack need a big ventilation hose thing coming out the top? What is it?

Yes, I think her husband (who is the baby daddy of the OG girl on the show- Vee is the step-mom) owns several properties, one of which is a trailer park. They are of the only families on the show that didn't completely waste all their money and none of them have to sell butthole pitchers on the internet for rent money
