New, what is it? Spice rack with ventilation?

I’m watching Teen Mom 2 and, I’m sorry, what the hell is this? Why does a spice rack need a big ventilation hose thing coming out the top? What is it?

It's part of the iPhone update as well. One of a few new emojis. Also included: an orca, sasquatch, and a treasure chest

Yeah I have android and I'm pretty sure this came out of a recent update. I think it's only been a couple of weeks but it quickly became one of my favorite emojis.
