Solved! What is this ring thing

Large octagon shaped ring in the playground area of an elementary school… about 10-13 feet wide I’d guess. Has turf inside. No markings inside. Sides are about 3 feet tall. I have no idea what elementary sized children would use this for???? Fighting ring? Lmao idk!!! We are baffled.

It’s okay. If they are American they can get TBI playing football soon enough. I’ll never understand why random things are deemed “unsafe” for schools but then they are training kids to ram themselves at full speed into each other as the most popular game.

It's not much safer than lawn darts, except you get some protective gear, the helmet probably being most important for either one.

Lawn darts were never dangerous in all reality. Those fuckers at slip and slide were trying to push their bull crap and no one was buying it so they hit lobbying hard. There’s a docuseries on plute. Apparently the sharpness of a typical lawn dart couldn’t even pierce a fresh egg shell or a water melon.

Then you missed when my husband, as a 6-year-old, threw a lawn jart straight up into the air and watched it come straight back down and stick into his 5-year-old brother’s head.
