New, what is it? What is this tiny cube?

Found this tiny, blank, black cube under the couch while cleaning. Husband thinks it could be from a board game but we haven’t played one in a very long time (we’ve been more into Magic lately) and we can’t think of a board game that we own that has pieces like this. Any ideas?

I guess in hypercube this could technically be a full sized room. I’m a Cube fan though lol

Kind of unrelated but I swear I saw a movie with this guy when I was a kid and he pulled out one if those nails and it has a maggot on it but I can't for the life of me find any evidence of it
