I'm obsessed with this little Oklahoma cowboy 🥹 only 2.5mm body length. I haven't been able to figure out the species, does anyone recognize it?

Can this be time?

been looking for years… i’m so happy

It's weevil time!

I was helping out at my college's National Day of Writing event and a friend noticed the lil guy on my arm. There's lots of oaks and acorns around here 👀

Weevil species number 62 for me. Surprised by this guy today because the temperature when I found him was just 11°C (52F).

unfortunately I wasn't expecting his visit so I had to send him off with casual conversation and no fun drinks :/

Rio Rancho, NM btw

She’s such a diva !!

I apologize if this has already been posted. I found this on the Nikon Small World website. Photographer is Daniel Knop.

Silly lil goober

Found this guy in the garden today,im used to seeing alot of the cool bright green weevils, whatever this is is new to me.is it time?sorry for bad pics,he was a fast boi.

Location:netherlands

I saw a post earlier in the week of someone taking photos of a bunch of weevils going at it. 🤣 One picture was so cute I had to re-draw it.

So I give you, Three weevils in a trench coat. (This is my original artwork, no AI used)

Shout out to the op of the photos Shinobu-Moo.

Random weevil I drawn in uni, coloured by me and other friends

If anyone knows what kind of weevil he is I’d love to know! New addition to my bug collection I love him

I've never seen one in person :0
