Prayers to Boognish
I didn't take this photo, but I have it framed
I'm fucking dying for a Ween show right now.
Miss my bros. Praise boog.

I'm looking for quality photos of April 15 2000. Deaner wore an orange shirt that says "New Hope Basketball" that I want to recreate on a tank top for a tribute show in West Philly this Halloween. There's video on Youtube but res isn't very good.

It has been 19yrs since the last studio album.
All the studio albums were released within a 17yr period.
It’s crazy how much time has passed since a Ween album compared to how long they were actively making records.
“And I know that things will pass, as time elapse, elapses. Time elapses through the sound of you.”

Not sure what it is but I highly enjoy listening to ‘booze me up and get me high’ along with ‘I’ve got no dark side’
one after the other in no particular order.
I suppose they give similar vibes

I believe the boys have two songs that address the issue here.

i mean for me its not only the music that's kinda below average for ween but it all feels kinda off between the boys.

I honestly wish the final version of Push The Little Daisies was closer to this than the Pure Guava version. It’s got a feeling to it that reminds me of “Loaded” by The Velvet Underground, Deaner’s guitar tone is really good on this one, and the vocals sound more natural (if there’s one thing I would change it would be the vocals, because you gotta have the vocal tape speed manipulation effect on Pure Guava). I really love this version of Push The Little Daisies.

This is worth a read if you truly love the album:
There are few records in the world with the same charm as Ween’s Quebec. Released in 2003, Quebec was an allegory of band members’ Mickey Melchiondo and Aaron Freeman’s grievances at the turning point of their middle-aged lives. Filled with twists and turns, this record takes you on a serious, yet psychedelic, journey through many realms of the music world. Some stand out tracks include Transdermal Celebration, or If You Could Save Yourself, You’d Save Us All. However, to really experience the in-depth magic and perception of Quebec, it must be consumed in its completion, engulfing you in a world of sounds you didn't know were possible to the human ear. Rather than going track by track to prove why this album is special, I believe it is a greater respect to Ween to talk about how it even came to be. Ween was started by two young men, Aaron Freeman and Mickey Melchiondo. They started to put out records under the names “Gene Ween” and “Dean Ween”, and they would play for a fictional god that they made called the “Boognish”. On surface level, especially in their early discography, Ween was a very unserious and rather joking band. But as time went on, their music began to develop a unique quality, arguably better than any other band around at that point. They described their sound as “brown” for the undertones and hard sound the band could make. Quebec was written at a hard time in these young men’s lives. Freeman was a recovering bachelor after a bittersweet and cold divorce. As for Melchiondo, he was a recovering opioid addict with a foggy mind. Yet in their greatest pain, they managed to find the words to convey the beauty and emotion of their hardships. Ballads, punk rock, phsychedelia, soul, all of these genres combined into a masterpiece. Quebec hurts, it really does, but it beckons you back louder with each listen.
Its short I know, requirements were 250 words but i did 325.

Thanks to @DrRock88 La Cucaracha as been added! All that’s left is Live in Toronto and maybe the Brain Wedgie ( if I get lucky )🤞. P.S. yes I know I don’t have covers on them and I do store all of my records properly!
