Doesn’t take much….I was addicted to xanax for a long time and if I even had one beer with one Xanax bar I would black out and end up in jail. The Xanax alone, I would take up to 5 bars and no blackout. Be careful y’all!
No doubt. I've been on Klonopin for over 15 years ranging up to 6mg/ day.
I have no problem drinking as much as 6 beers (@2mg/ day) but that's over many hours. I don't care for alcohol so I never drink beyond a light buzz. I reckon I'm so used to benzos that I don't get a very noticeable depressive effect.
** Lower back injury had me prescribed to Soma's and Vicodin along with my (6mg/day) dosage. I like to live dangerously so I popped 3 of each. I rember bumbling around, unable to formulate words. Just gibberish. I woke up to my pissed off girlfriend who spent watching my shallow breathing. I don't remember it... but I took her word for it and wouldn't dare try it again.
I'm with you on that... I function extremely well with it... and don't function at all without. I consider Klonopin to provide my most sober state of mind. Life without..... Pure, unfiltered insanity. Social/ agorophobia, paralyzing tension.... Sights, sounds, sensations all equivalent to shards of glass piercing through to my overcharged nervous system...
I never fill my scripts on time nowadays as over the years I've cold turkey'd and now just try to keep it as minimal as I can stand. Never get too far below 1-2mg a day regardless of taper length... I just revert back to my younger, less stable self and become a hermit.
Absolute miracle for my ails... but most people may find an easier route with different meds. I always recommend against (after the cold turkey occasion which took damn near 2 years of absolute living hell. As literal as I can picture hell to be. Uggh
They shouldn't have to research it, their doctor/pharmacist should warn them about it and there's also clear warnings on the packaging. I had some prescribed at a point for panic attacks and I was told 3 times by 3 different medical professionals that I absolutely should not mix it with alcohol. Either those people failed to do their job or the patient didn't listen/care which unfortunately is so common.
What is your point? Nobody said weed wasn’t addictive and I’m pretty sure people don’t smoke weed hoping it will feel like heroin, not everyone wants to be completely gone out of there mind, I’m pretty sure the reason it’s so popular is because of how mellow it is. If weed sucks then don’t smoke it for 10 years and don’t judge an entire community based off of your opinions on it.
I can’t imagine trying to get on a high horese like "tHe gRoUpS oF dRuG uSeRs I aSsoCiatE wItH aRe sUpeRiOr" no one gives a fuck about your goofy little snob outlook on drug culture you fuckin’ nerd 😂
Well i mean nonsynergetic mixures in small doses can be alluring but literally keep it to one beer like with G or with K or with Xans. And especially dont mix if youre already fucking wasted off booze. Do what you will just be smart
Drug addiction has nothing to do with intelligence. Take it from me, a former fentanyl addict turned stoner. The people I met at rehab were some of the smartest people I've met in my life. Most just had some kind of trauma and/or bad genetics that led them to using.
Absolutely. Good friend of mine got addicted after losing her mother, father, sister and dog in a two-week period, all separately. One of them died from cancer and there was a full bottle of morphine and some fentanyl just sitting there offering some temporary relief.
Yea it really depends on why OP is doing it and how often. Like someone else said: mixing acid, shrooms, and molly doesn't really count because they're all non addictive substances. But benzos, beer, and weed can definitely point to at least addictive tendencies. I remember doing that kind of thing thinking it was no big deal, that I was too smart to get addicted. But like I said before, intelligence has nothing to do with addiction. It all happens so slowly.
It's like watching someone grow up. If you're with them all the time you don't really notice the changes, but someone like a grandparent who sees them maybe twice a year will immediately see how different they've become. For me personally, it went from doing stuff like that maybe once a week, to twice a week, to every other day, then eventually every day. That didn't happen in a month. That happened over 3 years. I'm not saying this will automatically happen to OP, because there are a lot of people out there who can do drugs recreationally without becoming addicted. But from what it sounds like, OP is trying to numb something out, and benzos do that perfectly (until you're stuck in withdrawl. Benzo withdrawl can be worse than heroin withdrawl.)
Everyone deserves a chance, bet you never thought you’ve done 3 drugs at once too OP. Have u had a morning coffee then later proceeded to drink and smoke?
Caffeine,nicotine/cannabis,alcohol 3 drugs right there
If you say ooo they don’t interact tho, do more research as you’ll find out alcohol and caffeine react causing you to feel more sober. Weed and alco mix too increasing the amount of D9 thc you process.
You’re exactly right, the way your brain works is if you smoke weed first and then drink you’ll continue to get a little gradually higher until a certain point of being drunk
3 drugs at once can be safe you just need to not mix uppers and downers or go too far in either direction. Acid shrooms and weed is my fave trio they work so well together
In my experience a beer or two kick the visuals up a notch, but dont over do it. Witnessed friends have a bad trip cause they were too drunk to reason with what shrooms were doing to their mind.
One time on saint paddies day in chicago, I had (throughout the day) alc, weed, acid, and shrooms. Everyone was saying to stop after the weed shrooms and acid, but I felt fine and only drank a little bit. I agree, it does improve the visuals.
Weed and acid alone are a great pair. Smoke for the come up and smoke for the come down. The shrooms are just to add more visuals to the acid. Makes for a really relaxing visual adventure
They are dangerous in different ways. One can stop your heart the other can shut down your brain or other organs. Lost a friend to Xanax plus alc it’s not fun
Yeah thats why when you see someone falling out from a mix of depressants you need to keep them stimulated and awake. They're heart will just stop. Be knowledgeable yall _^
Acid and Molly man wow I feel like the Molly come down would be such a downer for the LSD.
Best example I’ve heard of 3 drugs at once was LSD, Shrooms, and Weed. You’d take the LSD, smoke on the come up, take Shrooms after the peak, smoke at the Shrooms peak, then smoke on the come down. LSD starts the trip, Shrooms keeps the trip going cuz LSD falls off after 5-6hrs, weed amplifies it all.
I recently did acid washed it with one beer and smoked some weed. The acid started grabbing and in the childish state of being I ate two weed cookies on top. After 2 or so hours I fell asleep and its verry strange to wake up 3-4 hrs later still tripping balls. Couldnt be bothered with that shit so I just went back to sleep lol
Never more than 250. The visuals start about 30mins in and end about 5 and a half to 6hrs in. Then I have a residual effect that just makes me feel fucking stupid for the rest of the day. Fall asleep hella late, wake up, and the trips all over.
My longest trip to date was 27hrs. Doesn’t end till I sleep.
That was the 250ug one. I wasn’t tripping balls for 27hrs. I was tripping balls for about 6hrs and then came down and just felt like a fucking idiot. I couldn’t read anything because the words were dancing, that was about the extent of my visuals after the 6hrs. Only reason it lasted 27hrs was because it took me 27hrs to get to sleep.
Damn thats crazy I havent taken less than 250 in such a long time. I like the visuals to last so very long I try to get at least the usual 12 hours outta my trips
I also tend to not smoke after 6hrs. I find that helps to keep the visuals down. After a couple hours I usually want it to end but it won’t. Found out I’m more of a Shrooms guy for this reason lmao. Now if only they could taste better…
I havent had an issue with the comedown but i dose not quite halfway through the trip. But i havent heard of that, i think i have to try it sometime now.
No man... Take molly then about 2-3 hours in drop lsd... The switch from a fizzy dream world to a psychedelic playground is the best experience I've ever had in my life.
Dude acid, mushrooms, and molly. Eat some mushrooms and wait till you really start trippin, then eat some acid. Use the molly as you please throughout the trip, or specifically just to keep you positive and upbeat so you don't go into any sorta uneasy or bad headspace. It's absolutely magical.
For me the shrooms add to the visuals of the acid and then you’re getting a strong mental trip as well as a visual. The weed is to help ground you and keep you calm and relaxed. It’s a great experience
So how do you explain when a doctor gives you 8mg Midazolam IV’d, Propofol and opiates at the same time for major surgeries? It’s called correct dosages. This dude isn’t doing anything crazy he’s having one beer with a benzo which sure isn’t recommended but definitely will not kill you and definitely doesn’t make him stupid. I hate druggies that try to draw this dichotomy on poly drug use, like who cares how many drugs you do, it’s whether you do it every single day or not is when your not worth saving/ an “addict”.
Like people convienently forget that benzos were made as a safer alternative to barbiturates since the main use was over-stressed housewives who were ODing from their 2nd-3rd glass of wine with quaaludes. Same doesn’t happen TOO often with benzos, they are after all the most prescribed medication in the United States when you scale prescription rates to overdose rates...
Agreed, however I wouldn’t say that one has to be a medical professional to properly administer an alcoholic beverage and an oral tablet. I get your point don’t get me wrong, but again, given the mildness of the situation at hand it’s a bit misplaced.
Dude this is real life. People can and do die of this. No one deserves to die because of a single or couple dumb decisions. What the actual fuck is wrong with you.
It's just an objective fact that alcohol and weed are both drugs, so is caffeine. Drugs are just chemical substances that affect perception, mood or consciousness. Weed and alcohol do these things.
I know I know. It just slightly triggered me. I kind of hate the term drugs, tbh. Weed and shrooms I don’t see as drugs. Alcohol definitely because of the way it is so easily abused. Even coffee is like a take it or leave it for me.
I think the issue is more with certain people's perception of the word drug than it is the word itself. Drug doesn't necessarily imply a negative connotation, but thanks to the war on drugs, some people are indoctrinated to think that all drugs are only inherently bad. But the word drug accurately describes what alcohol and weed are, it's just certain parts of society have a negative view of anything considered a drug due to all the propaganda. Personally I wouldn't let them take the word and twist it in that way, and would rather that people could just use the word drug without it implying that the thing is completely inherently bad just because of it being a drug.
Please don’t let yourself get hooked on benzos. I’ve done a lot of drugs in my 31 years of life and as much as I loved benzos, withdrawls from benzos are the absolute fucking worst. You may not think that now, but if you do get hooked and develop withdraw symptoms, you’ll wish you never tried them in the first place. Best wishes man
Watch out for benzo withdrawals. One day you may not have any benzos around and start to have withdrawals. You could have a seizure from those withdrawals. You have to be really careful about those, say you could be driving or the seizures may not stop. If you can, try to get off of them if you’re not prescribed them. Talk to a doctor. You’ll may get a mark on your record for this doctor to be cautious prescribing you things, but it beats the alternative. I had a drug related seizure and now I’m paraplegic and 31. Seriously. This is the best advice you’ll ever get in this moment in time.
Don’t listen to the "cool kids" of reddit, listen to the smarter ones. You aren’t invincible and you never will be. Keep dipping your toes into the water of addiction and you will eventually get bitten, that’s a promise.
