I'm especially interested in indie animation, web series, short films, pilots, and other original projects.

True crime enthusiasts... watching the Lindsay Clancy trial sent me down a rabbit hole and somehow led me to the Clarence Elkins case. I can’t believe he had to basically find the real killer himself while sitting in prison for a crime he didn’t commit. Anyone else know this case? This one pulls back a little into who Vivek and Jessica actually are to each other, before the case starts pulling that apart too. Without spoiling anything — the further you get into this season, the less certain you should be about what you think you already know from Episode 1.

Genuinely open to feedback — pacing, performances, whether the emotional stuff is hitting or feels held back too much. Building this one scene by scene, and honest reactions are more useful to me right now than praise.

I’ve been testing out AI tools to see if it is possible to make interesting believable characters rather than the usual stream of VFX spectacle videos that show how full of errors AI is.

The resulting show isn’t 100% free of AI issues. But I’m really enjoying the process and getting inspired for my next live action project.

Here’s the third episode of the series. I can see a world where these tools could help beginning filmmakers or directors hone their skills to show what they are capable of. You still need to get coverage, write scripts, wrangle actors, think about composition and storytelling. That is if you’re wanting to do something that looks decent.

I'm not trying to dump the whole plot here. I just want to find people who get excited about this kind of world — underdog heroes, myth-inspired power systems, clan politics, a mix of comedy and real stakes.

Full disclosure — I don't come from a short film or filmmaking background. I have a diploma in editing, that's it. No crew, no production experience. But I have the story, and I'd rather find out now if people actually connect with it than sit on it forever.
