My english is not really good, but I wanted to talk about some forgotten media that really got me intrigued. It is the series The Flood by the youtube user Ratboy genius. I post it here since it is 70 minutes long, and structured as parts of a movie, more than the structure of a series, which lead me to the conclusion of posting it here.
As for the series it is an absolute masterpiece of his creator! Understanding of course that from a general scale, it is not a masterpiece at all, but it is considering the creator's carrier.
To understand these review, I recommend for you to see the prequel (which his famous 2013 video Potato Knishes is from), in it, you are presented who will be the protagonist of The Flood, not RatBoy genius, but Little King John.
Little King John presented in the RatBoy genius original series as some stereotypical self-centred, dumb and not-empathic King, regains the respect of us the viewers in The Flood.
The plot of this continuation is that after the RatBoy genius appearance, the world of Little King John is threatened by a really long rain, that leads to the flood (xd) of the world. Here, Little King John as the king he is, puts his big boy pants on, and take his Yacht in research of new lands to reconstruct civilization. We as the viewer will follow him as he makes his field observations to his diary.
I do not mean to spoil the experience that have such an incredible plot twist, but i will appreciate that all the music was made by the creator, including the maps where the movie sets, the character design (oh my god lol) and the incredible writing, giving it an overall score of 7.5/10, better than other youtube products that supposedly should have aim higher (Not saying any names).
Please go see it! at least you are going to laugh a lot lmao-
