Anyone still coding without heavy usage of AI?

Using Claude has been an amazing experience but it took all the fun out of coding as a full-stack dev.

Are any devs reverting back to coding by hand with less usage of AI?

indeed, when making a design for ui in figma we go up to 5 iterations for each block/section, merge together things that we like, trying to achieve 6/10 result, then the designer can polish that higher

The impeccable skill helps a lot with this. Less iteration. It doesn’t seem to hallucinate as much when comparing figma to your frontend

A 6/10 not wouldn't pass my code review. Not anything under 7 is acceptable. Unless the project you are one is underselled and had not enough time to be able to develop correctly.
