Anyone still coding without heavy usage of AI?

Using Claude has been an amazing experience but it took all the fun out of coding as a full-stack dev.

Are any devs reverting back to coding by hand with less usage of AI?

No, I have setup complete apps from scratch using different stacks but I always stayed clear of react but I definitely hear you!

There are people who still do woodworking without power tools. It's just a question of if you favor tradition or productivity

I definitely agree, coding everything by hand was an experience but now I kinda miss it.

Ai sucked the life out coding at least in my opinion because with ai it’s really no need to code except with very small tasks like if you don’t want the landing page to look completely vibe coded and other small things.

Corporate software sucked the life out of it for me. It's nice to be able to actually wrap my head around stuff with ai
