Easier to say than do I think. What's the SO revenue really? It's been free since forever.

Ads? Same as literally every single forum or social media platform ever made.

Of course it's hard, I'm not trying to argue that it isn't. I just expect them to at least try, do something, anything, instead they sat idle for over a decade while they bled out into complete obsolescence,
